  1. Catch Can

I've got a J & L PCV (passenger side) can on my GT. Just put it on a couple hundred miles ago, so haven't checked it yet. I'll probably check it on the 5s (10K, 15K, 20K, etc). Don't expect to see much accumulation though.
  2. Mustang GTD vs. Corvette C8 ZR1: Owners Driving Review | Part 1

😆 Well.........................the ZR1's interior was certainly a BOLD automotive fashion statement! And.......................the Vette raises the bar on **** rear visibility with the resurrection of the split rear window. I guess with a 1064 HP ZR1 you need to keep your foot on the gas...
  3. New s650 owner

    Congrats, welcome, and LOOKS GREAT!
  4. Please help me. Dented my Stang!!!!!!!!

Ditto! Never understood the urge to pressure wash (other than commercial vehicles, mud trucks and the like). I use my garden hose with the nozzle set to the shower setting. Lots of water; very little pressure. I have been thinking about trying the foam cannon technique lately though.
  5. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

@Mr Lahey --Dang! Sorry you got such ****** service. An oil/filter change is about as basic a service as it gets. If you ever have any explosive devices left on your GT; I wouldn't take it to that dealership for disarming! 😉 Guess I'm lucky. My dealer's Fastlane Service is pretty good on...
  6. Leave it alone

Stock??!! What's that? 🤷‍♂️ 😉 Our engines are fairly well stressed by Ford; I really don't think there's much meat left on the bone without going the supercharger route and that's not an option for me because I'm a normally aspirated guy (my last two cars were turbo 4s). So I've...
  7. Anyone watching WEC, there’s a couple GT3 Mustangs?

Yes. I like WEC; was stoked to see Ford Mustangs as 1 & 2 (while it lasted). Where it counted though? "In LMGT3, Marino Sato, Sean Galael and Darren Leung took victory, in the #95 United Autosports McLaren 720S GT3. They were followed by Kelvin van der Linde in the #46 WRT BMW M4 GT3...
  8. IZ Metal paint

As boring neutral colors go; not to mention godawful repetitive shots of the same painting sequence combined with **** back ground music it's OK. 😉
  9. Do all jacking rails make the factory pinch weld jack obsolete?

The pads clamp on with 2 allen head set screws. 2 pads on each side; I loosen the screws on the second pad and move it to where I want on the pinch rail and place my stands/jack, etc under it. Piece 'o cake.
  10. Do all jacking rails make the factory pinch weld jack obsolete?

Another option for our Mustangs (I had Steeda JRs on my former Focus RS and they worked great) is ZL1Addons jacking pads. I've got them on my GT and they also work great. Additionally, they weigh much less than rails and are easier to install (just ran my GT up on my car ramps as opposed to...
  11. Detroit area performance shops.

https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/ They installed some kit on my former Focus RS, as well as a 93 O dyno tune that gained me 65 HP over stock. Very positive experience! I have two friends who've had work performed by them. One has a GT500 that dynoed at over 800 HP (I think) at the...
  12. New 2025 Molten Magenta GT PP

Welcome and congratulations on your new Mustang GT! Do you have any pics? Apparently there are some RPM shift point limits programmed into the OEM Mustang/A10 tune in the upper gears. I've read that one or more of the recently released after market tunes rewrites that part of the PCM code...
  13. Post your aftermarket wheels! (HELP ME CHOOSE)!

Just this one. They are a high gloss black.
  14. Post your aftermarket wheels! (HELP ME CHOOSE)!

Same set up as @Johnny_Casino ; SVE R355s 19 x 10 285 and 19 x 11 305, and as @86pagt said; I got them via LMR.com on their last years Labor Day sale. I really like the classic 5 spoke look and my calipers are much easier to access for cleaning!
  15. DAR spoiler

😲 WOW! Thank you Lord, 🙏 for guiding me to have my spoiler done at a hop! 😆
  16. Just learning

So, it wasn't just me. 😆
  17. All Season tires for a Dark Horse with Handling Package

@skeeter1949 Conventional wisdom for driving in light snow, slush and the like is to run narrower tires than what a max performance summer tire set would be. The reasoning being the narrower tire/foot print will bite down through the snow and slush to the pavement/ground more effectively. If...
  18. What’s the Most Useful Interior Upgrade You’ve Made?

Right on! NO kids, NO food, NO smokin' (either kind)! I do allow beverages as long as they're covered. PS: Yes. I'm a car NAZI. 😆
  19. What was your dog’s first car ride like?

She complained constantly about about fill in the blank, but then I divorced her in '06 (after she'd run off with the second boy friend). What?! Oops! 🤔 You meant the other kind of dog.....................................my bad! 😆 Never owned one. 😉
