The milage warranty is a bit less on the Michelin. I had the PS AS3+ on the S550 and they were great... currently trying the DWS06 on S550 to see if they get a little longer life on the wife's daily driver. I am sure I will be happy with these as they are supposed to be an improvement over the AS3+.

I got the HPP and immediately replaced the summer only tires with all season tires on aftermarket wheels. I now have the original HPP wheels for use with snow tires as summer tires are not usable enough of the year around here. Though I currently don't plan on driving this one in crappy weather...

I ordered Continental DWS06 tires in 265/35-20 F and 305/30-20 R... but the rears were on backorder and not expected for two months. I can't be driving on the summer only tires in December, so I got some Pilot sport all season 4 tires instead.

I got the keep hands on the wheel warning... because l wasn't holding on to it lol.... seeing how long the lane centering would drive. Also have the star (favorite) button set for quiet mode too.

I did similar on the 2018 S550 that we have... took our 2006 mustang in for airbag replacement from the old takata recall... looked at the new ones and fell in love with the Royal Crimson... left the dealer with the new S550!

If using the 19x9 HPP wheels, they take 255/40-19 tires. Just pick your favorite brand of winter tire.

They are not installed at the factory because they can get torn off in shipping.

It's all logistics... They have to have enough cars going to the same area to fill a train car, then the train has many stops to switch rail cars. then the trucking companies have to have enough cars for a truckload and enough drivers to do the driving, etc. etc.

Going to need 19" wheels to clear... I am putting new wheels on mine right away and will have the HPP wheels left over for winter tires. If I were to buy wheels for winter tires, I would likely buy a set of 4 HPP wheel in 19x9 as there are lots of winter tires that will fit.

I had to have the passenger side entire seat back frame replaced in my S550.
