She is a BEAST. I mean it's night and day different and certainly addresses the lack of from-the-factory-power. It sounds glorious with the Whipple supercharger + Whipple Comp Open Air Boxes + Steeda H Pipe and Dark Horse mufflers. I snapped more than a few necks today on my way home as well as...
Yes sir. She may be a smidge closer but I didn't experience any rubbing on the 40 minute drive home. Relieves some pressure off me to step down to 19"s prior to my road trip. Time to let the wallet cool off a bit.
What did I do today? Received a call from Blackstock telling me the SC was done however the recall takes between 2-4 hours so they going to start it tomorrow but who knows, tomorrow could be a nice cruise home in an 800hp beast!
Hope the weather holds up for at least tomorrow. Supposed to get...
There was a recall on the black screen of doom on 2024s. I’ve never experienced it but my car is within the final week of that range so they are doing it while also doing my supercharger.
Today is the day! Dropped her off for the Whipple Stage 1 install as well as a few other things to prep for the road trip this summer.
Heard good things about these guys so let's see how it all pans out!
Just dropped off Freyja at Blackstock Ford for the Whipple install. Spoke to the Master Tech Kyle about a few particulars (catch cans, comp open air boxes, and those 20" wheels and tires) and then ubered my ass home.
Probably be later this week like Wed or Thur before pickup.
Yes sir. Tomorrow morning! I've got bigger problems though waiting to find out how the 20" rims and tires will work out post whipple install or whether I have to drive out my stock HP rims and tires and have Ford mount those before end of installation. Then sell my 20s and order a set of 19s...
Went out for a beautiful, if not a little cool, cruise today and filled up with fresh 94 for tomorrows supercharger install.
Also broke my passenger wiper blade as I was cleaning my window with the car on. That sneaking rain sensing bullshit caught me sleeping and snapped the blade off. Can't...
Went down to Home Depot and got a torque wrench set and a pair of 3 ton axle stands so I can change out the winter/summer set on my gf's Honda Pilot......
(and also swap to the new 19" wheels and tires that may have to be ordered after the supercharger install on Monday; which she also doesn't...
X or H or HH. It’s all subjective from a sound quality standpoint.
i like the older muscle car sounds from back in my day so went H.
Others enjoy that more tuned Ferrari sound (a bit raspy for my taste) so go X.
The only way to be sure is to hear different H pipe brands for yourself and...
Ummm, you just got a 2025 GT? Go drive your car!
Come back in a couple of years when you want to trade in and do a real time snapshot at what is available rather than putting the brain power into the mental gymnastics now.
I remember when I was waiting for mine and then @roadpilot popped up and said he saw a major accident involving a truck carrying all white dark horses on the bridge leaving MI. Ahhh the good old days!!!
Whomever is getting their MY2025 DH welcome to the club. Looks like at least 2 DH with HP?
My car sits in the garage from the first week of November until right about now (she's been out 4 times so far this month). During this time it sits on a tender.
