Had a great time Saturday at Road Atlanta for the Petit Le Mans! It was packed and sold out. We got there a little later than we wanted, however the crew at the Mustang Corral hooked us up and gave us a place to park.
Not sure if this is a joke or not, lol. What's odd about it? Its a Centrifugal Supercharger. They were quite popular in the Fox and New Edge days and they still are. Back then it was Vortech, Paxton, Pro Charger, etc. The new self contained models make it so much simpler to install as well.
I don't do formal competition nor really any track days. However; I do live at the base of the Smokies and have a plethora of "fun" roads to enjoy.
There is a guy down the road from me that has one of these and drives it every so often. Thing sounds awesome and is extremely deep. I can tell its him from when he first turns on our road.
The CAIs in some cases look better but are meh for any real gains. Lund Jr did plenty of testing, even without any intake piping when he initially started tuning for the S650 (NA). If you do car shows, etc. and want a good looking intake, cool. But for just performance gains, not a lot to be had...
Man, i'd try to get a quality video/ sound clip to post. You may get a little additional vibration buzzing from the MGW but shouldn't have clunking due to it.
I guess that depends on what you are comparing it to. If comparing with a cable clutch from previous generations of mustangs, then the newer clutch feel will no doubt be much looser/ lighter feeling. I personally put in the Steeda clutch spring and it helps the feel but it still is very light in...
Well technically, for the 3rd/4th Gen Coyote engines, it would be 307 ci. Nobody makes those though, lol. I imagine the conversations would be funny though. May have to get a custom set made.
Yeah, I personally prefer having the Mustang on the front and the rear of the vehicle. That is why I replace the rear GT with a Mustang. I like the "Freedom and Un-Tamed Spirit" that the name and emblem stand for. I may change mine to all black soon and move back to the "5.0" in the sides in...
The Ecoboost is just as much a Mustang as all of the other models. Heck, the Mustang we all know and love probably would not exist any longer if not for the V6 and I4 variants.
You'd have to reach out to HP Tuners or Steeda. I've never used the MPVI3 with the TDN App. Don't quote me but I don't think that you could with the MPVI2 but that functionality may have been added with the MPVI2+/3. I would verify with Steeda before purchasing for sure.
I like muh GT noise . Only reason I personally would use dynomat would be if I was installing a decent sound system in my GT. It is heavy when a lot is used and can't have that extra weight ;-)....race car, lol. Seriously though, dynamat can definitely quit/ muffle road noise down if...
