The Ancient ones once piloted landpods known as "Sedans". The Fusion was one of these. Can you believe that you once had to manually control the pod the entire time? It is wonder that the Ancients ever survived.

2020 Miata weighs 200+ lbs more than a 1989 Miata. That's an increase of 10%, which is skewed on the low end by just how tiny the damn thing is. Let's assume a weight gain of 15%, landing us at ~3650. That's also not adding in modern audio, power seats, infotainment system, power windows...
It's an astounding 30 inches shorter and 8 inches narrower than the Mustang. It's also a rag top in the lightest configuration. No back seat, no usable trunk, not enough cabin space for a driver of my height. You can't bring up the Miata in a conversation about reducing the weight on the...
