Ask him for a screenshot of your order in Vista so you can see if your car has a VIN yet (usually about 6-8 weeks before build), segmentation date, and an ETA (delivery in Australia). Those are the three things I've been tracking and keeping an eye on.

That is so interesting. I wondered how it would go down the fact that the Dark Horse was down on power over a GT. Ford absolutely had to correct that. I mean in reality, no one will feel that small of a difference, but it would just be wrong to have the halo product come in under the normal car.

I just got my fortnightly update from the dealer. As expected my dates were pushed out like everyone else's. Good news is I now have a VIN as well! Segmentation: 17 Jun 2024 ETA: 23 Oct 2024

Yeah August was the previous ETA I was given from my dealer. Since then I think the building of Aussie RHD cars were pushed back a couple of months so it wont surprise me if my ETA is pushed out when I get my next update from the dealer. I'll probably get an update later this week.

Yeah I think in these modern times Covid and chip shortage is just being used as an escape code. Not all that relevant anymore. I'm just happy at least something clicked in the system and some action got triggered. For a while there I started to think we are dead in the water.

So I just had an update from my dealer. Nothing changed on mine since the previous update. VIN is still blank, segmentation date is still 2 April, ETA is still 8 August. Man this uncertainty and anticipation is killing me 🥴
