Yeh, copy. Just noting that FORScan did not recognize my DH until the this most recent update. Until the most recent version, I had to set up a profile using a "fake" strat code--I just used the one FORScan suggests as an example. Really, all along, the profile (strat code) I used didn't really...
I'll compare to mine when I'm back at my desk. But that list is going to far exceed mine.
1435hrs. Ok...back for sec, then I'm splitting for a hike in the mountains.
Within what I think is the address range (6F6-XX-XX) for this function, there's definitely some differences. The two I...
Yup, I assumed as much. Mine (standard DH, which did not come w/approach lighting) just doesn't work that way. Ford's tutorial indicates otherwise, as well. Looking for someone who has had to configure this feature in FORScan to see what I've done wrong.
Mine is enabled. However, it doesn't work "automatically." Again, I may have missed and/or misconfigured a setting somewhere.
My notes are attached (see last few slides).
Likely going to reverse my steps to try to get the "audible" part of AWALF working. Meantime, I think I was wrong about approach detection--at least how it's designed to work according to Ford.
I wrongly assumed "detection" was automatic (within ~7 to 10ft). However, it appears (no pun...
Just a note, I made the edit to "7D0-09-05" and it broke WAL--setting disappeared from display and lock function stopped working. To remedy, I repeated my steps in "easy mode" and restored the display and function (it locks as I decrease proximity but no audible honk). Going to quit for the day...
Success...WAL works. However, I had already edited APIM in "easy mode" and disabled "Walk Away Lock Feedback" Once I did, WAL was Enabled (tested, works perfectly) and the slide-button option in APIM display to enable "audible feedback" was gone.
Wondering if I should still edit " 7D0-09-05?"...
With the release of FORScan 2.3.61, I decided to do more than look around--which is all I did with previous versions. One note up front, FORScan recognized my DH automatically--didn't have to enter (or fake) a strategy code to get in.
To be certain, I'm a FORScan novice but wanted to enable...
Track WOT...um, plenty of descriptive characterizations out there but if there was such a thing as an aggressive, muscular American exotic quality, the steeda H-Pipe achieves it.
Just installed mine on stock active exhaust. I fire up in a two-car garage which is separated by a wall with my closest neighbor. I have quite start programed for mornings (quite mode "seems" closer to normal mode) but asked my neighbors for feedback over dinner the other night. None could say...
I'm attempting to remove a bunch of road debris (stones and dirt) that has collected in/on the rear under paneling. However, I don't recognize one of the fasteners used to secure it.
Is this a type of push pin or screw? In any case, I've no idea how to remove it. Your expertise is much...
So far, most of my settings remain resident save the shift light. Coincidentally, if AA fails, the next time I start the car, the shift light setting reverts to the default.
I have noticed that my XM stations sometimes like to erase themselves.
Just adding to this list (along with overheating issue). Pixel 7 Pro will both randomly/intermittently lose connection when I'm using Google Maps to navigate. Lost connection "almost always" corresponds with the phone getting 1) hot and/or 2) losing cellular connectivity (not saying that's a...
Just adding to the list. Pixel 7 Pro w/thin Spigen polycarbonate case. Case or no case, centered, off-center, or even slightly tilted, my phone is very slow to charge (if it charges at all) and overheats regularly--warning messages will flash on screen (by this time, the phone is hot). This also...
I'm not an expert but I used the PCM/Strategy code for the F-250 that FORScan provides as an example. Didn't change anything...just wanted to see if it would connect and recognize all the modules, which it did.
Same. I've used the adaptive CC but not the regular CC until the other day. Mine also set for 115--which I didn't do. On a second attempt, I couldn't get it to stay set at any speed. Traffic increased, so I stopped testing it out. I figured I missed something in the manual. Car is in for ceramic...
