Oh one more sidenote and I think someone might have referenced it.
There was another rumor that I never tried but supposedly in the Camaro, if you had rev match on and you were “drag racing” - under hard/full acceleration you could upshift as long as you were above 3000rpms and you did not need...
I had the feature in 2 Camaros as it was developed by Nissan in roughly 2002 (has been available on manual Z cars since).
GM offered it on Corvettes and Camaros as recently as them being manual.
The feature is significantly better in the mustang as the GM version as recently as my 2023 Camaro...
As a side note - I like the fact that I think it more than likely promotes greater heat escape and in South Florida that’s a positive no matter how you slice it up.
sorry all. I didn’t see the original pic request. So I pulled over on the way to work. These pics are not good but I think you’ll get the idea of how it looks.
(for the record the car is totally blacked out and I mean totally. There isn’t a badge, light or reflector that isn’t blacked out. That...
Yes I always think the same. Here in Florida between the sun and a lot of car washing gotta wonder about the paint. A small part like that could be taken care of easily but it remains to be seen for sure.
This was the one I purchased in glossy

I take back my original position.
I actually triggered it yesterday and it was appropriate although I knew what was happening.
since the car has an “awareness option” I wonder if your eye position comes into play. I looked away but knew I was coming up on the car and although could be a...
I had seen this hood vent on eBay and I really liked the way it looked.
I went snooping around and basically found that it appears to be a Chinese made knock off of an Anderson Composites hood vent.
I love the look of it but the pricing on the AC product caused me to choke. Really was an...
I sort of expected these kinds of responses but in reality, I don’t live in a perfect world so I appreciated the technology.
Yes surely one should never have an accident. And a person should always be paying attention while driving. I think that’s clear.
Of course yet somehow…. Someway…...
I’m actually one of those people who learned to really appreciate the feature which is the front collision detection.
I had it on my last Camaro and it was really very nice.
I have it set to the max sensitivity and with all the bells and whistles. I’ve tried to trick it on” multiple times and...
Wanted some advice. I swapped out wheels as soon as I got my car. Shortly thereafter I noticed that one of the tire sensors was not being read.
was going to take it back and it started working again.
It randomly errors and says it’s not working only to go back to normal.
Im sure the sensor...
Oh yummy. I have the same exhaust. I haven’t had problems although the “active” aspect of it is kind of nonsensical. I can’t tell really any material difference in sound with the exception of silent which is also not much different.
I get it however as the muffler set up is virtually nothing so...
Overreacting?
I think you’re “underreacting”. I’d lose my $hit.
In today’s day and age there is no secret that your wheels are the same as the body of your car.
The shop is clearly incompetent. Knowing the way these things go you’re not likely to get any relief. Best you can do is find someone...
