Thoughts on what I can do myself to correct this?
I have 3 small paint blemishes that all look like someone took a nail and just tapped it in a single spot and the paint is gone down to the metal, I think.
No, no one did this, but that is what it looks like.
I noticed them a couple of weeks...
For everyone's reference,
https://www.tinting-laws.com/
It has links for each state, and they are different state by state.
(do not use this as gospel, if I were you I'd check your DMV website for confirmation)
According to the link above...
For reference:
Florida:
Tint darkness for sedans...
haha, no, but I do see them in the pic also, those are reflections of the popcorn ceiling from the lights on.
I have some pics of it when outside. But I think the sun glare might be a bit distracting.
Now, there is a gap running around the tint that was put on where those little dots are put...
They are 5%.
Yes, dark at night, but I'm use to it since 1988 on my wife's Thunderbird.
But, with that being said, I'd probably NOT recommend anything darker than 20%, jmho
Very very happy with my 2025 GT Premium.
One of the main reasons I bought it was the 5.0 Coyote, if I don't drive it like I stole it and I maintain it, that might be the last car I ever buy (maybe, uh, haha, can't wait for the Gt500KR to come back out, on it's way, right? lol)
In the state of TN you can get a waiver to get darker tinting if you can provide a medical note from a Dr stating such.
I got the waiver due to my wife's light sensitivity issue, yes, it's real, and it can be nasty if we went somewhere without the tinting exposing her to full sun for an hour or...
Another stick story....
In a parade, driving stick, several sticks had clutch issues at the end. The auto's all made it fine, varying car makes n models, sticks had issues.
On the motorcycles, almost all of the Harleys had to be towed to a shop because of different issues, funny, the Hondas all...
I did my top 3/8, so, time will tell. I've done that with others that had no window frame and as long as they sit for a day or two, never had an issue.
What I did not do was the maybe 1/8 inch of bubbles around the rear side windows and the rear window, so yes, there is the tiniest gap between...
yeah, understand the heat in FL, born there, lived up through middle school years in Altamonte Springs, then high school and college years in St. Cloud, spent many a liquid lunch those last few years in Cocoa Beach....
yeah, on my explorer I did go 35% on the two windows and same for the front...
I'm very happy with the automatic. I've driven stick for many many years, started out on 3 on a tree, showing my age, but the automatic beats my stick shifting even though i've learned stick competitively at a younger age. I LOVE doing stick, but I also use this to go on extended trips and in a...
The snarky answer is.... same color as my explorer, lol.
It is the Rapid Red Metallic.
The color is great, but those dang nit pocket holes (I have 2 that I know of) where it is a like a chip, but more like someone took a nail and just tapped it, no dent, just a pocket minus paint and overlay and...
The instructions I was given do not work.
So I went down to my friends window tinting shop and he confirmed that as far as he knows there is no way to disable it even though there are instructions online how to do it.
It calls for one to close the window all the way while inside the car then to...
Very sorry if this topic is already covered or if this is the wrong place. I am not in a location where I can easily search.
I am going to get the Windows tinted on the S650 GT.
How do i disable the automatic windiw scroll down n up a quarter inch when I open the doors?
Thx.
Will post a pic...
I actually use them when pulling up into my garage.
My driveway is asphalt to the garage, but it is 15 degree incline in one spot about 7 degree going up then to the right into the garage, the GT BARELY crosses the threshold where it goes from asphalt to concrete garage, clearance, ugh, lol.
But...
Sorry, I can't answer the menu question, learning a lot myself.
My reason for the car:
1 - it's a Mustang GT with xxx hp, and is a LOT of fun to drive.
2 - that 5.0 Coyote, if taken care of properly, should last me forever, it's a beast. but I doubt it will be my last, I also need something more...
Funny, I purposely don't buckle up, or don't close the door all the way or something that creates the alert dum de dum tone, just to hear it, hah.
The more I drive my 2024 GT Premium I purchased 2 months or so ago, the more I like it, AND the more I want to ensure it stays garaged for the...
