I'm certainly not contesting your right to buy and drive what you want. I feel engaged with the paddle shifters, especially after a good tune is applied. Lightening fast shifts, crisp and responsive. I enjoyed a good big block four speed back in the day when they were the used cars. Then I was...
I'm in it for the quickness, and faster is faster. I want the fastest Mustang Dark Horse. If the stick were quicker, that's what I'd have gone with. The 10R80 is faster, drag or track, period. So yeah, the dual clutch 7 speed is no problem at all. You can row gears all you want and I'll stick...
Well, shine she may but run she must! 0.4 seconds 0-60 costs $ and I can't out shift the 10R80, so I have no problem with the paddle shifters and a faster car.
Or... You could enjoy being faster with your 10R80. 0.4 faster 0-60 at 3.7 seconds and 12.0 in the quarter, a half second quicker. For me it's all about speed and quickness.
I had a guy in a Ram 6.2 Hemi decide he didn't like an Explorer passing him. Little did he know I had built a stroker 347 with a Ford Performance roller cam, Crane Roller rockers, 4.30 gears, and long tube headers. You'd think the lumpy idle would tip them off! Explorer 5 liter engines had the...
I'm 6'-0", but I have long legs and a shorter torso. With the seat down I have no issues with the mirrors, but I do run the seat pretty far back. No one could begin to sit behind me.
I have only had my '25 Grabber Blue DH for about 6-7 weeks so I only have about 250 miles on the odometer so far. I'm definitely a spirited driver but I haven't had any people playing with me yet. If I get them beside me at a stop light, I just shift at 4000 and they're typically wayyyy back at...
Will do. I'm having a guy I've worked with for many years do the installation. I can do it, but I know he has all the tools to make it nice and look factory.
You do tunes? I'm curious, who's hardware do you use? I'd love a true 93 octane tune and an E85 tune. If I find myself in an area with no E85 available I'd like to switch to 93 and be on my way. I have long tube 1 7/8 headers, a double H pipe, and a Steeda CAI system on it.
I went with the Lethal Performance Stainless Power 1-7/8" Long Tube Headers with 3" Catted Lead Pipes (Factory Connect) (2015-2026 Mustang GT)- SM24HCAT
I got the Double H-pipe from Lethal as well.
Thank you, Junkyard Dog. I'm actually a tiny bit older than the average on here and drive balls out damn near constantly. It's called practice. It does hone your skills and makes you react thru muscle memory. I'm quicker on a road course and in the quarter than I ever was 20 years ago, even...
I have a set of long tube headers with high flow cats and a double H pipe. I'm getting everything ready for a Whipple. The headers and double H aren't installed yet. The headers just arrived yesterday!
Yes, E85 is all over in Southern Indiana. There's even a alcohol plant near here that makes a gazillion gallons of alcohol for automotive use. My goal is a tuner that will make 93 tune and a second E85 tune. If worst case occurs, I can switch back to 93 and be okay.
Fascinating discussion. I have a 2010 Fusion Sport that I've had since new and I've found the all season Michelin PS tires the best I've had on it. I use that car as my daily driver and the Michelins are the first tires I've had on it that come close to holding traction. Goodyear F1s...
