that was sort of my experience too- inside the car it just wasn’t that loud. although I’ve been a musician in a past life and my media room speakers I custom built can hit 130db so I am probably half deaf anyway haha

I thought the oil cooler unless purchased in the PP kit, while it will bolt up, it doesn’t work right and doesn’t regulate temperatures due to the way the ECU is not able to be programmed for it. There is an entire thread on that… seems to be a bargain at $5600 to me… Larger Wheels and Tires...

Thanks for all the feedback. I believe the two we are able to dealer trade for are 301A with PP and Active Exhaust, one is Race Red with Red Calipers as additional package and one is Black. Leaning toward the red. I believe its paint will look nicer for longer.

Do these immediately void the warranty on the car? Coming from a WRX tR, and if the dealer sees you’ve got a tuned ECM many will black list the car. If uninstalled prior to bringing in for warranty work, can the dealer tell you have tuned the car on this platform?

I think that’s only on the automatics correct?

Ford isn't the only one. I am coming from a tuned WRX - a '24 tR edition. I have Recaros, sure - but I also have a freaking flip mirror. In a $45K car. A FLIP MIRROR. Oh, wait - Ford just announced they are putting those back in the Mustang GT for 2026. :facepalm:

Yeah it was one of the things I was most excited about. My 2018 SS 1LE had active exhaust and I feel it was much more pronounced. Maybe it's all the weight / sound deadening inside the new Mustangs?

Has anyone measured the sound level difference with a db meter inside the car? Maybe my old ears are just not what they used to be…

That’s what I’m leaning towards. Appreciate the feedback. The dual screens don’t bother me quite honestly… sure the single screen is nicer- but I don’t think it’s $4-5k nicer on the 25’s and $6k nicer on the 26’s. Thanks for your thoughts
