It might be worth calling up local dealerships and asking if they use BG's Virtual Maintenance Advisor and steer clear if they do. Any platform made "for dealers to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability" is bad news for the consumer.
Don't forget to remove the trunk lid latch lock release so the zombies don't get out.
Use caution: some people have a particular set of skills. Skills they have acquired over a very long career.
I'd love to tap the seat icon and have it go right to ventilated setting 3. My GT is stored all winter so I have no use for heated seats, but that's the default. I tap the icon, it goes to heat 3, then I use the slider to drag it down to ventilated 3. If there's a better way let me know...
I'll have to try the 3 screen view, but I will probably stick with what I have. Thanks!
I bought a lifetime subscription to XM radio in 2007 for $500 and transferred it twice to new cars, so I am happy with my value! I don't pay for or want unlimited cell data so this is great for me in and out...
Yup! I learn a lot here and bought some upgrades too, none more important than the wheel wheel hole covers (Thanks Hein).
Just swipe at the map vertically (like switching heated seat to ventilated) and scroll through the options. Enjoy!
I've never liked the constant GPS updating on the far right side of the screen. Most of my drives are well known, or I'm trying to get lost and enjoy the ride like it's 1996.
I went to turn on my wife's ventilated seat, and I missed. To my surprise, the Nav screen changed to something else...
I had a manager sign no decals, widow etching, nitrogen, and all that other BS on my order form. I told them I'd advertise if I had a good experience. I didn't, so I didn't.
Camaro, Challenger, Charger (excluding new electric) and the old Barracuda, Cougar and Firebirds all gone.
...it's a short list.
At least for cars I can afford, anyway.
I replaced the FM antenna right away with the stubby shown above. The other antenna is for XM and none of their replacements are any better. I live with the wart on the trunk and $5/month I have to haggle to get annually to get my tunes.
I've had my GT covered for 2 winters with this Gold Shield 5L cover and it's held up fine. It's on sale now (8/12/25) for $144 with promo code USA20. Sale repeats often, especially around holiday weekends. I've used covers from this company for over a decade - no issues.
I'm glad that button to the left is a blank! That would disable the auto start/stop at every stop sign and red light. You don't have that, so it's a dummy button.
The favorite button is to the right and looks like a star. You can program it to do a few different things. I chose mine to...
I understand the question, but I'm wondering if a portable power bank wouldn't be more practical here? If this is for a laptop, the 120V plug is going into an AC adapter anyway. Why convert from DC to AC to DC (unless you're on the highway to hell)? Newer power banks are rated at 20,000 mAh+...
Thanks for posting. I had a screw patched up last week and just saw it was torqued to 110 when reinstalled at a local tire shop. I'll get that remedied today.
I looked into this on another vehicle and there's not really a quick fix. It's more than the wiring, you need a module that will remember the seat settings. All things are possible with enough determination and money, but you're probably better off selling privately and getting one factory...
I'm happy with my Lloyd mat. My first choices for embroidery came up with licensing issues, so I settled on S650 which goes with my license plate anyway.
I wish someone taught me about credit when I was young - could have saved me a lot of grief and money. I'm all for teaching the next generation about credit and how to use it responsibly. In the USA, your first interaction with credit shouldn't be buying a home - that won't go well. I...
