Well after 2 weeks Tamiami Ford finally got my Whipple installed.
Just picked it up and dang is it loud! Haven’t had a chance to open it up much but she’s got some power now!
I appreciate the concern. I have been racing since my teens, Formula Dodge, ASA stock cars and more DE events than I can count. My last car was a Tesla Model S Plaid that runs low 9’s so I am use to the power.
Can’t wait!
To each their own, however with high hp cars like this people should be required to take a driving course,
I am a former professional stock car driver, amateur Skip Barber Formula Ford driver and have done more DE events than I can count.. I can handle the car.
It was quite the rush you coulddrive comfortably to the race track in a four-door family sedan. Rip off a couple 9.2 second quarter miles and drive home in comfort again
.
I’m not a greeny, but I do love the instant acceleration of electric vehicles.
I disagree if you have the money, enjoy mashing the throttle and want more of a rush than stock go for it!
I had a Hellcat and Demon and loved them. But they don’t come in a convertible. So my Whipple is on order.
I had a 1020hp daily Tesla Plaid and I never got tired of the acceleration rush!
