I had the exact same thing happen to me when I had a Flowmaster Outlaw Active exhaust installed. Took it back, and they found one of the actuator mounts was loose and it wasn't able to engage/sense the position of the valve. There was no learning curve for mine once it was tightened up/fixed.

Black and Purple wires are Negative Green and Yellow wires are Positive

What wheel/tire combination are you running? Brand/size/etc. Also, do you have lowering springs on it? Love the looks!

+1 on the Valentine 1 G2 or the Uniden R7 or R8. I have both the V1 and R7. The Uniden's have GPS built in so you can create Mute memory for X-band falses in locations. The V1 G2's are bluetooth updateable now instead of having to send them to Cincinatti for updates.

If you have Forscan, this video shows how to disable the factory EQ on the 550. I am not sure if it is the same for the 650, but here is the link.
