  1. I love my Dark Horse

I am also very fond of mine. The bronze wheels to me were well worth the little extra.
  2. 2025 Dark Horse

Congrats! Shadow black was nearly my choice as well, it looks epic especially if you got bronze wheels. And the Recaro seats just work.
  3. Seat position

This is why forums will never be surpassed by other forms of social media; people who not only offer useful advice but also people who receive and successfully apply it, and post back with results. Brilliant.
  4. Seat position

I think that's exactly what the Easy entry and exit feature is for. Instead of using a different memory spot for it, let the car move the seat for you.
  5. What other cars do you like besides Mustangs?

Our second car is a CT4, which I do quite enjoy driving. If it had a clutch pedal it would be the perfect daily, even with the 4-cylinder.
  6. Quiet start

All modern cars preheat cats by retarding on initial startup, which makes them extra rumbly. In quiet mode this is still substantially quieter than in other modes.
  7. My Car Feels Slow...

To me the difference in gearing with performance pack made a major difference, so yeah test drive one and see how you feel. Keeping the revs up with the coyote helps it not feel slow, and it does also sound its best above 6k.
  8. Dark Horse Air Strakes.

I was ambivalent about them, but since the shipping blocks had been left on, just asked them to install the strakes while it was on the lift. Haven't scraped the speed bumps yet so that's a plus.
  9. anyone else's auto throttle input for manuals giving out?

Very much agree. I want my GF to be able to enjoy the mustang without my decades of practice. The big, powerful car is intimidating enough, if it was also hard to drive it would be way too daunting.
  10. anyone else's auto throttle input for manuals giving out?

I have yet to try myself, but planning on disabling the fake electronic vroom vroom noises in a week or two when I get the chance, will take a peek if anything jumps out. With my S550 I complained about a ridiculous amount of rev hang and they reset the learned values which took care of it.
  11. anyone else's auto throttle input for manuals giving out?

Dealer service department can reset the learned behavior of the ECU, which might help. Clutch fluid could have air in it. Different shoes or seating position can also contribute. The behavior across different S550 GTs was really consistent, and the S650 DH seems a bit gentler with it, prompting...
  12. Are we really using 87 fuel?

My previous mustang, the 2019 GT, would protest low quality gasoline by way of misfire and hesitation. It taught me to only go for the expensive stuff, so I continue using V-Power only in the DH as well. With the amount I drive, no reason not to.
  13. 700A worth $4995 more than 600A ?

The recaro seats are just the ideal for my body, and the microsuede is surprisingly comfy even in Florida weather, but it is the strangest thing that Ford couldn't install the peltier in them.
  14. How in the heck do you turn on steering assist on 2024 GT Premium?

People usually buy a mustang because they want to drive a mustang. Nobody wants to drive a hyundai, which is why they've kindly tried to help even the driver avoid it. To each their own.
  15. S550 vs S650

The dash peaked with S550, but after living with the screens for a few days I noticed they didn't annoy me nearly as much as I thought. I set the climate control when I buy the car and rarely touch it afterwards, volume control is still a knob, and the modes are on the steering wheel now, so the...
  16. Driving Tips - Manual Transmission

I think the sentence in the owners manual that started this thread has appeared in the handbooks of other cars as well. Nothing pony specific, just best practice to keep it in gear, same way as you keep your hands on the wheel. Driving habits can always be re-learned, if that is the desire...
  17. New 2026 Mustang GT Convertible (Orange Fury) owner

That is gorgeous. MT82 is such a gem too, 10/10 spec. I got a homelink visor from the Parts Farm, didn't check yet if my DH has the connector for the sill illumination. Glad to see I'm not the only one not only ranting about the cost cutting nonsense but fixing it for my small part.
  18. Dark Horse- What did you Mod today?

Having had the integrated buttons on my '19 GT the omission was nearly a dealbreaker. If only the CT4 Blackwing came with 8 cylinders, or the CT5 with less than a 100k price tag.
  19. Dark Horse- What did you Mod today?

Homelink visor from the parts farm, but for 2026 they've changed the shape of the trim piece on the left support, so it's not a direct swap. And the retaining clip fell down the A-pillar somewhere... if it decides to rattle I'll need to figure out how to dismantle more. #firstworldproblems I...
