  1. Solutions for spare tire subwoofer bolt not fitting trunk floor bracket?

Honestly, I don't think so, not without a lot of work. You need something to nestle the subwoofer in to keep it from moving around. I'm returning it. I ordered a special bolt from a specialty store that would fit the threading on the Mustang's bracket, but it still didn't work right. On top of...
  2. Solutions for spare tire subwoofer bolt not fitting trunk floor bracket?

Yeah, I think this is going to be a bit of a process but I'll report back how it goes. Folks who've installed more traditional subwoofers but did not have the factory B&O subwoofer have tapped into the wiring harness going to the rear deck speakers. I have read mixed things on whether, if you do...
  3. Solutions for spare tire subwoofer bolt not fitting trunk floor bracket?

Not sure how much of a "mod" this is, but this seemed like the most appropriate part of the forums... Short version: I'm wondering if anyone has advice for mounting a spare tire subwoofer when the bolt provided with the sub is too thick to fit in the bracket mounted to the floor of the trunk...

  5. Need advice: routing subwoofer power through firewall

I'm definitely in no position to vouch for it, but check the link to the video in my op. It shows how to tap into the wiring harness at the back. If you have the factory subwoofer, there is also a great thread on here from someone in a similar situation who did a full install, but I imagine the...
  6. Splash Guards

I put the ZL1 Add Ons onto mine. Other than having to remove the rear tires, install was fairly straightforward. No drilling into your car; just a block of material they provide that is affixed inside the fender with 3m tape. Very happy with the results...
  7. Need advice: routing subwoofer power through firewall

Awesome, thanks. So you lifted the battery out and drilled below that black plastic housing. Pretty sure I've got a metal drill bit for that size, would just need to order a pack of grommets.
  8. Need advice: routing subwoofer power through firewall

Hi all. I'm getting ready to install a subwoofer on my GT Premium, and it'll be the first time I'm doing such a thing. I know the power cable needs to be routed through the firewall and connected to the battery, but I have not been able to find a solid video yet for a 2024 model that shows how...
  9. HOW TO: Radar Detector Hard Wire Install with BlendMount

I have definitely looked at them and I think I would get one except one of the states I regularly drive in has banned radar detectors. Now of course I would never use it in that state, but if I forgot to take it down or if an officer just saw the mount and didn't realize I'd removed the...
  10. HOW TO: Radar Detector Hard Wire Install with BlendMount

Thanks for this post. I had a very messy install between a dashcam plugged into the visor USB, and a Uniden R3 plugged into the ol' cigarette lighter. I'm a little anxious about just yanking and pulling panels, not trusting where or how they're fastened, so this write up and your pictures gave...
  11. Dumb question - Continental ProContact tires in cold weather

I've got a GT Premium that still has the stock rims and tires, 19" Continental ProContact. I haven't driven a sports car with this kind power in almost 30 years, so I'm sure this is a stupid question and am just trying to educate myself. Like a lot of the US, we're dealing with a cold snap here...
  12. Is there an option for an audible alert for BLIS?

Pretty much the subject. On our Grand Cherokee, you have the option for there to be an audible warning when you activate a turn signal and there is a vehicle in that side's blind spot. For the Mustang, it appears the yellow warning indicator begins to blink but the only setting for BLIS I...
  13. Official GRABBER BLUE Mustang S650 Thread

Just picked up my baby today. GT Premium. So happy! Planning to do tinted windows, either dip or swap the wheels out, and some progressive springs, but for now I'm just happy she's home. Also, highly recommend Jake Parks at Koons Ford of Baltimore. A great buying experience from start to...

Looks like I'll have this before Christmas. Just ordered it in early October.
  15. Latest Mustang Production Key Commodity Constraints + Total Retail Unscheduled Orders (11/20/23)

Got some good news this week. My car was scheduled for week of 11/27 but apparently started a little early with a "sent to plant" status on Friday the 24th. With a little luck, I may have it by Christmas. 🤞

  17. 1K Oil Change

Honestly, 1K seems reasonable to me. For new (soon to be the last) Camaros, GM recommends a change at 500 miles (some dealers even do that first change free).
  18. Lots of unsold dark horse on ground

Nothing is worth the markups the dealers are asking for. The idea that we as consumers gave the stealerships so much power -- in an age when you can email any dealer to seek a better price and force them to negotiate against one another -- blows my mind. Fools and too much money.
  19. Can't even order a GT right now, hmm?

As mentioned, that's just a standard disclaimer. You can't order via the website but you can order from a dealer. I placed an order for a GT Premium on October 4 and it's scheduled to build Nov. 27.
  20. Rock Guard recommendations? (ZL1 Addons?)

Hey all. Not expecting to take delivery until January but trying to plan ahead. While most of my driving will be city and highway, we have a cabin that is off a two mile (well packed) gravel road. We'll usually be taking the Jeep there but I'd like the option to also take the Mustang (some great...
