I am genuinely curious what the remedy would be on this recall. They just state “awaiting parts”. All this while my car rots on a dealership lot. Q1 2026 estimates are insane

Yeah another recall just came out. This time for possible water going into the BCM and connectors. You seriously can make this up. Remedy for that is not anticipated until Q1 of 2026

Yeah I was going to say this, NPP is $1760 and if you go your own route to match it you’d have to get a black spoiler, black mirrors, wrap the roof black, new headlights, black out all the emblems and or course black out the wheels. Seems like such a hassle tbh.

Yeah not to mention the wheels are different too on the performance pack/w nite pony package

I’m hoping with them just working on getting the parts that this recall is fixed a lot earlier than estimated. The dealership even sent me pictures of my vehicle too (my profile picture) 😂

I emailed the dealership and all he could tell me is “4th quarter estimates on a recall release are subject to change. It could come sooner, or it could go into next year. I’ve seen my fair share of recalls beat estimates of release, and I’ve others go even longer.”

I was literally two weeks from taking delivery of my custom ordered 2025…on fords website it says the “remedy” will be out Q4 of this year so between October/December. This quite literally sucked the excitement I had right out of me.

They are refusing to let me take delivery of it straight up. Until the remedy is applied which makes sense. Due to is being a safety issue. A rental is not needed this is my second car. I just really wanted to be able to drive it before the weather goes south here since I live in the Midwest. I...

If it’s a 2026 I don’t think there would be an issue as they would apply whatever remedy to the new vehicles being produced.
