Lol the heat is no joke. And I popped the hood for a car show yesterday. The heat from under the hood was insane. A judge accidentally touched the strut brace and backed up real quick. I think the gt500 hood should be standard on the V8's. But at least the hood is not like the ones on the...
Southern heat does not go by the manual 😂. We get Temps 100-115 and up with humidity or dry heat. We already over the owners manual ambient Temps for the suggested oil.
No one is complicating anything. For those who live in the southern belt also known as hell. We have seen dry heat Temps 90-100 degrees and we know that this is only stage 1 of hell. We have 4 more to go before it cools off. So it's important to not run an oil that's easy to boil and stay...
Stupid question, but would catted headers void warranty? I'm curious just curious bc my dealer said it wouldn't if they installed them. But I don't trust them that much 😂.
Lol go for it! I caved in and brought one after seeing the wave. Once I saw I'd keep my warranty for the FP whipple. I made the investment because I had nothing to lose and fun and excitement to gain.
The FP whipple is considered an OEM part in ford's eyes. You keep the new Car Warranty and get the whipple warranty. I have multiple emails and chats with FP to confirm that as long as it is a FP whipple, it will not void new car warranty. That's why I went with FP and not just get the stage 1...
No problem lol, I was in the same boat as you for 3 weeks. I have big brakes in the back and can only run an 18x10 or bigger rim. I had to ask around for awhile and then someone at beefcake racing helped me alot and broke it down for me and answered all my questions. So I completely understand...
I would start by getting some rims. You can do 285-295/30/19 or 18 and do 305 in the back. If you want a radial then if you don't have the PP beaks in the back, you can run 18 in with room to downsize the rim for more tire. 305/35/18 - 305/45/18 would be good. Get ET Street or NT555RII and you...
I actually kept mine on, because I have done alot with the car. I have 7600k miles on the RS tires so far. But they are dying in the back. I might get another 1k out of them. Or toast them when I get my whipple. I'll get the ps4s and then get have some drag radials with some NTR2's on the back...
The cost of that would make it the same cost as the GTD if not more. We all want to have a chance at buy the car so I don't see Ford doing that for a car they want to produce a lot of. They would do that to the GTD
