This is my first convertible and live in the Chicago area. Absolutely 0 regrets and love being able to put the top down. Never drove the coupe but the road noise top up or down is not bad at all.

I don’t think I’ve ever noticed any audio/sound. I’ve only heard warnings when the top wasn’t completely down.

Once you notice it, it’s annoying. I can’t really time how long it happens between the noise. I did have the radio off and also tried to put the active exhaust into different settings and still noticed it when I was trying to troubleshoot myself last time. I didn’t notice it coming back...

I have had this same issue. Definitely sounds like it’s coming out of the rear. Just got the car back from the dealer for other issues so haven’t been able to drive it the past couple of weeks. I didn’t notice it when I drove it home and don’t think it’s consistent.

You have to look at your state lemon laws to see what needs to happen. Best thing you can do once requirements are met, is get yourself a lawyer that specializes in that. There should be no out of pocket charges for you and should be covered by the manufacturer settlement.

I have an auto and wouldn’t mind putting something like this on. To be honest, the factory knob looks and feels like cheap plastic.

Best idea mentioned was to put things back to see if it goes away to rule out any hardware issues. I’m sure these computers and sensors are sensitive and will show an error when numbers are out of whack.
