Had the same issue with the N1T3MRE when it arrived in Brisbane, the Detailing mob had to put on charge as it constantly sent out error codes - when I picked up , had to get Ford to clear the codes before I drove home......don't think the battery's are meant to last 4 months without running -...
I think I was fortunate to have the time for them to do the work, then let sit....any issues, they sorted before I picked up - but that is the installer you go with I guess.....did another 700km Fri/Sat in pretty crappy weather and flood way crossing (water was only ankle deep) note.....the GM...
Just fyi for ADR question.....if you are asked for compliance for finance, it is now electronic, gov website, pop in vin and it pops out a report even with dates it cleared customs
Great to see you got your beast Deano, looks mint.....and in a colour they cancelled
This also arrived this week.....searched dark horse car covers and found a site on etsy.....premiumcover do custom covers, got the indoor, even though it's in a car port, can confirm it stayed on the car in the weather we experienced over the last couple of days.....it is still raining up north...
Hey Deano,
The Xpel price is in line with Qld, and it is laser cut patterns and not cut on car, there was an issue with the DH vinyls, but made decision to single piece the bonnet, so there are no blend/dust lines, have pics up on here in another post....and after 6 months it has smoothed out...
Can't wait to get on one of these meets and check out everyone's rides.....done over 3k now in the DH, still not have seen another in the wild or a dealership.....was on the lookout for a white one with Black stripes as I drove down the Warrego on Wednesday, but have clicked up over 500km this...
Bugger, just sat down and browsing, actually in Brissie this weekend, but brought the van this trip
If it was on, would have gone in the Prado to say hi
So, the beast has been sitting idle since before Christmas, first day off and it was too nice a day not to stretch its legs.
I have been wanting to do this for a while to see how the speed timers work, don't know how accurate, but a lot of fun.

There is a video on YT with a Dark horse doing laps at Phillip Island. Journalist said same thing, believe it was turn 4 and between 50 and 75% tank and it would cough.......Phillip Island is predominantly long mid to high speed corners.
Planning on tracking car soon at new track near...
That does look nice.,..I just didn't want to risk any damage...,still get the different tones with ppf......but everything is a satin finish..,.....will need to address this thread in 10 yrs and I am paying $20k for new vinyl :shock:
Ps...any news on first drive yet.,...?
It's habit now....turn on accessories, change to sport,..clutch in, start engine, enjoy noise.... double click lane change and turn off....reverse out of driveway..,..find as many intersections as I can to go up and down gears to listen to that wonderful tune :like::clap::like::rockon:.,,....do...
I made the same decision....northern Australia sun is not only hot but the UV destroys everything....one piece over the bonnet to protect everything..... initially there was a noticeable line between paint and vinyl, but has cleared up nicely.....pic below is day 1 at Auto Protective
3000km in the dark horse on the wonderful Queensland roads..... cleaning the beast yesterday and noticed 13 different stone marks in the ppf across the bonnet and front fenders, and interestingly even one on the rear wing?? Best part about Queensland summer sun is that it is hot enough to...
