Some peoples kids. Well, I imagine he wouldn't be very happy when he realizes OP admitted directly to my point and agreed with me, so probably better for his ego if he doesn't see that anyway.
Right, but all of this because the stiffer suspension is locked to track mode, which turns off or reduces the safety features. I wasn't saying that the stiffer suspension shouldn't be available in all drive modes, which is your complaint, or that you shouldn't enjoy driving fast. I do, too. I...
He wants the stiffer suspension from track mode and the nannies from normie mode. I get it, but he's saying that because of not being able to have both at the same time he's stuck choosing between track mode and the risks associate with it, or normie mode and not having the suspension. All I did...
Yes. He complained that he can't have his car in track mode and have the safety features active at the same time. I understand what he was saying. He specifically asked:
I'm only explaining that his chosen mode for "driving pleasure" wasn't designed for road use. Had he asked something like...
Because Track Mode is for the track where these extra safety features can actually lead to serious accidents and injuries if they activate when they're unwanted. The car assumes if you're in track mode that you're on the track and turns the safety features down so the vehicles sensors don't...
We could start a whole other thread about Mustang drivers there are that don't understand or appreciate the culture that exists. I see a lot of SN95 and S197 drivers who are just oblivious to other Mustang drivers. To them it's just a car; just a tool.
I don't usually have issues with the Teslas like a lot of people are saying. Around here, outside Seattle, most of the Tesla drivers are hipsters and the kinds of people who bought a car out of necessity, not because they wanted to.
Definitely a respect with other Mustang drivers. I pulled up beside an S550 Mach 1 at a stop light a couple weeks ago in my DH. Both of our windows were down and I revved up. He looked over and revved up. He said he really liked my car. I said I really liked his. Then we went our separate ways.
