Haha actually that might work! Denim is pretty strong and that is certainly a creative way for a DIY fix. Just make sure you don't select a pair of jeans from the 90s/00s where they came new with holes in them already! 🤣
My thoughts on the damage shown in the video leads me to think that...
Curious now - so if Blue Ember gets a special version of the hood stripes, what is the color difference in stripes between say the Blue Ember or a black/gray car? Tried looking up pics online but couldn't see the changes.
I can easy see unique stripes costing that much to install. Must be a...
No touchy touchy!! Its part of the Dark Horse look and enhances the package. Its what the designers intended for it to look like. I'm sure the removed hood stripes from the DH would look fine anyway though.
Completely your decision since it is your car. You can do whatever you want to it of...
Ford always had some quality issues but it seriously turned into a mess when covid hit. Sadly, I do not believe the company will recover from the damage that was done. Now it is controlled by bean counters that say "oh make that part cheaper" or "we can make vehicles cheaper in other countries."...
Agreed! Definitely would be cool to have as an option.
My assumption on why it was not offered was due to manufacturing complexity and most likely production costs. Love the idea though!
I'm sure Ford was thinking if you wanted a clear glass roof just get a convertible? LOL
I've heard of the clucky jerk feeling when putting the car in either drive or reverse on the automatic cars, but from how you are describing - I have never heard of the automatic jerking at engine startup. 😲
Awesome. 🤩 The convertible version should be a premium option to begin with for the few of us willing to pay top $ for the performance droptop so we can get our tan on while listening to that exhaust. Still a little bitter about no vert Mach 1.
LOL too funny... well not everything that is expensive is tasteful. 🤣 Ok done being a jerk.
I think the wife's car is just a bit more unique. Add some stripey stripes to yours and maybe you will get some compliments. 😂
What you are describing might be the passenger seat back doing the rattling. That sounds like a light tapping noise over bumps. Easy way to find out is to shove a thick book in the rear seat pocket OR put a backpack full of stuff on the seat and drive around. Both will add tension to the seat...
Ugh! Sad to hear that. I am glad that you are okay and you are liking the new mustang so far. Sometimes life happens. You lost $7k in value (still terrible) but I can only imagine how much more money the other driver will pay in insurance premiums over their lifetime.
Yeah I would take it in to your dealership unfortunately. It really seems like a vacuum leak based on your feedback and video. I would be able to tell in person. Really sucks that something like this happened so soon to a new car. I do not think that is normal, nor should be ignored.
