You need to find a friend looking for an A10 GT to avoid taking a big haircut. Maybe you will find one on here, or through a local Mustang Club. My problem is that I don’t ever sell anything, so I have two automatics and two manuals.

The S550 has a physically smaller battery. The Mustang now has the same battery as many Ford vehicles including the F150 (XL and XLT), the Edge and several others. It is also a different technology. The S550 had a flooded battery and the S650 has an AGM battery.

Any H6 AGM battery will work. I have an OPTIMA coming for mine. Full disclosure, I retired from Fords battery supplier and they also own OPTIMA.
