This would be valid if your supposed expectations weren't so unreasonable. Ford marginally raises the price on a new product, with marginally improved performance/tech (not to mention the supply chain climate) and a handful of people immediately jump in to complain. A reasonable person would...
The pricing hasn't risen any faster than the general market. Am I to believe that people on here expected Ford to price the new DH at the exact same price or less than the outgoing M1?
I'm not seeing the logic in this statement. The 5th gen gt500 made 660hp so I'd say that is irrelevant. I'm guessing nobody picked the option, because it makes no sense, and they dropped it
If anything, I would put money on the Tremec becoming an option on the non-Dark Horse models but I doubt they make it standard. They can drive more revenue by selling it as an upgrade option
I'm still not sold on the vapor blue combined with grabber brakes. Grabber brakes will look good on an Atlas Blue or any of the grey colors, but in some lights it seems like they clash with the vapor blue. It'd be nice to see it with red calipers for a change
I don't think they necessarily did this to save money, but rather to sell the option and generate more revenue. They are able to keep pricing down by selling more options. It's what the whole auto industry is doing now as inflation squeezes profits. Also active exhaust was never standard
