So you haven't even seen the car and your looking to spend money on springs that you don't really need. The stock DH set is pretty good. Try driving the car first then decide what you may need. Then spend that money on a dashcam or radar detector to protect yourself on the roads.
Not sure about GT engines I know the Dark horse has a forged crank, pistons and GT500 forged connecting rods. They also have stronger cams that are a different profile and Ford is now selling Dark Horse create engines and they sell the 5.0 create engine.
