Actually, that's not really relevant today.
While I can't speak for every Ford assembly plant, I can tell you that many run three crews (A, B, and C), and each crew works four 10-hour days. Further, crews can move around so they aren't always working the same four-day stretch. Saturdays and...
@DCS, I posted a write up on blend date over on the F150 forums about 9 years ago. I'm sure it still applies today (note that this was for the F150 built at DTP and KCAP, not the Mustang built at FRAP). Here it is:
I'm picking up my Dark Horse on Monday, but I enjoyed a conjugal visit with it yesterday.
While I'll go over it in much greater detail then, I did a cursory check and all the gaps look great, the paint looked great, and nothing jumped out at me.
It was built just within the last few weeks...
You lose price protection if/when model year changes. This applies to all vehicles, not just the Mustang or DH. The only way around it is if your dealership agrees to suck it up and cover it.
Bottom line, HP and torque are visceral.
If you view an automobile as transportation to get you from point A to point B, then you don't need HP or torque. If you are what I'd call someone with the true American spirit, you love you some HP and torque ... and guns! :)
I'm @ $62,180 including the 700A, so + $1,615. I did get the RECARO seats at the $1,650 price, not the recently increased $1,995 price. I didn't want a Blue Ember car, so no AP, and no HP per my previous message. Painted stripe? Hell no. I'm going to remove the hood sticker from this one...
Honestly, I don't think I could be friends with people like that ... :cwl:
Same here, except it was my '2016 Corvette Z06 ... :crying: She respected that car. Then again, so did I.
They don't schedule/build the DHHP optioned DHs in the late fall/winter months due to the tire composition.
What is the base price on you order? Mine was $58,185. That is only $205 more than the base price of another DH Premium I found ($57,970) that was built back on 06 SEP 2023 (nearly 6...
Correct. They ordered it. But I didn't just sit on my arse waiting. I put in the work to find one. I did the same thing to find my SXSs when everybody was waiting over a year for those, too.
No offense intended.
Yes, I used that site when searching, as I was looking for a GT PP that I could use AZ Plan on (my father retired from Ford). I lost out on the one I found about 30 minutes away, but came across this DH that had just been built a few days before. I don't get AZ Plan pricing on the DH, but I...
