Yes, It's positioned differently for Android Auto, but I've been using that in my F150 for ~2 years since enabling full-screen AA using FDRS and FORScan, as well as in the Mustang since I got it. But you still can't get right to changing the music SOURCE (FM to Sirius to Pandora) from the card...
Wi-Fi has *nothing* to do with these OTAs (thus far). It has only been used once in 3 years since I got my 2021 F150, and that was a fix to correct a problem with updates coming OTA via the TCU.
Not at all, @The Ghost. In fact, yours was one of the most well thought out and constructed posts in recent times. All I was saying is that the GT vs DH posts, in general, all seem to eventually spiral down into pissing contests.
I don't believe that it has as much to do about the CAR as it does about the state of the current economy and perceived (and real) economic stability.
People are paying SIGNIFICANTLY more for food, clothing, housing, transportation, medical care, child care, and other necessities than they were...
All these GT vs DH threads are no different than any other: GT buyers saying how happy they are saving $$ to get the 'same car' *cough* as a DH and DH buyers saying they bought a DH because they could and/or wanted one.
Beyond that, it's nothing more than a bunch of folks opening their pie...
Using something for marketing (only) means it doesn't really serve a purpose or do anything IRL, but is used only to help sell something.
Consider the phrase "Military grade". There is no such thing. But it's used as a marketing term to make someone think they are buying something more tough...
My Z06 costed considerably more than my DH. I would be just as crushed regardless of which one was hit. I would not be "less hurt" because the DH costs less.
GT vs DH: I guess $10K makes far more of a difference to you than it does to me. 🤷‍♂️
I'm most certainly fully aware of the purpose of your rear facing fog lights.
It was a joke. Do you not have those on the other side of the pond?
So the guy behind you doesn't run into you if you hit the brakes? I assume that's the same reason cars have rear tail lights in Europe. We're not talking rocket science here, regardless of whether we're using the standard or metric system to measure ... :)
Yes, here in America, we drive forward, not backward.
Rear tail lights brighten up when the driver presses on the brake pedal to indicate that they are changing speeds (slowing down/stopping). Rear fog lights don't change to indicate anything (like a rear tail light does), nor do you drive...
