True, but I'm looking at it from a dealer perspective.
I can understand why they would be skeptical of such buyers and may choose to not do business with them. The time they're wasting trying to play detective & scope out how serious your out-of-state purchase might be is time they can use...
I wouldn't say it's weird, because I get why they wouldn't entertain non-local sales.
For one reason, out of state buyers can be flaky. They know you either have to arrange for travel or shipping, and that gets to be a logistical nightmare. If you miss your flight, or if the trucking company is...
Interestingly enough, the GM Supplier Discount website doesn't have a similar restriction, as you can search for vehicles at any dealer within a 2K mile radius of your zip code.
Just FYI, in all likelihood, there's a good chance you're going to be dealing with the same Union labor you seem to loathe even with a Cadillac or a *GOOD* SUV (IMO, while they may have American companies beat with sedans and even crossovers, foreign automakers don't do as well with trucks/SUVs).
I saw that, and it's good you were able to score such a low rate.
But it's most definitely an exception to the rule as 4.6% is below even the Fed Funds Rate (5.33%). Your bank is essentially losing money on your loan.
Not for a 726 credit score with 72 month financing.
Not saying thar 9.9% is great, but double digit financing these days is not uncommon either for folks with long term lengths and average credit.
Folks who are getting below 6% right now either have extremely short term lengths (such as...
My other car is paid off, and it's a pickup. So you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead hands.
If anything, I'll be looking into a 3rd vehicle (newer pickup) next year.
In rare move, Ford executive chair calls on UAW to make a deal and end ‘acrimonious’ talks

Bumping this thread to share that I ordered Craig's Custom Mustang Bracket.

I also ordered these silicone frames, which fits seemlessly on the bracket...
Good points.
Although Ford wants to market it otherwise, the S650 is really more of a S550 refresh than an entirely new generation.
Even with the S550, in hindsight, it really didn't have major quality issues. I had a 2018 and there wasn't a single recall on it.
Definitely a legitimate concern.
I made peace with it by just opting to buy the Extended Service Plan, which would cover the cost to repair the screens.
As much as I like the S550, I already owned it once before (I wanted something different) and it will depreciate quite a bit as more S650s...
I must agree. Photos don't really do the screens justice, as they don't look nearly as bad in-person.
And this is from someone who was very critical of the screens at first on this forum.
That is the guy who spammed the board with a GoFundMe account to pay for a S650.
In fact, I'm pretty sure they were banned once before for trolling. For the life of me, I can't figure out how/why they are allowed back.
I had an interest rate of 12.97% with Ford Credit. I immediately refinanced it with a local credit union for 8.74%. I don't have the greatest credit score either (just above 700 with a fairly high utilization rate). And I put no money down.
The rub though is I have no derogatories on my credit...
