I like the Silver as it shows off the lines pretty well. I just think the GT needs the obviously optional active exhaust with quad outlets.

My Daily Driver (11th Gen Civic) has the Speed Limit recognition feature. It just displays the speed limit on the digital instrument panel, doesn't do much else.

I'd go as far as to say the xDrive variant of the M240i would be a competitor as well. It is for me as I am eyeing both. The BMW is quicker to 60 and undoubtedly will have better all weather traction and better build quality. Not sure if that makes up for the "Mustang" aura or that V8 rumble...

OK then, let’s talk stock to stock. The current 2022 Golf R hits 60 in 3.9 seconds - consistently on the street because of AWD. A GT would need a prepped track surface and good tires. But I’ll defer to your vast knowledge. 🙄

The 2015 Golf R I traded for my Mustang did 10.8 second quarter miles and made over 500 AWHP. Your car knowledge is lacking. The M240i xDrive stock will do 12 second quarter miles. NEITHER of them start anywhere near 60K. Pretty sure the only thing you’ve smoked is crack?

But, like you said. It doesn't have that V8 sound that the Mustang has. It's going to be a tough choice. Do I buy the car that has more heritage, sound and presence or do I buy the car that I can drive even when the weather is bad?

I just can't believe how much cornering grip the M240i xDrive has.

Yeah, 0-60MPH or 0-100KPH, the M240i xDrive is coming in right around 3.8 seconds. That's every day, every pull and not on a prepped surface. Those kind of numbers will be hard for the traction limited Mustang to achieve I would think. I've seen some with a mild tune and exhaust hitting 60 in...

The M240i xDrive is still on my shortlist with the Mustang GT PP.

I'm not mad at the interior as long as it's screwed together tight. I recently test drove a new M240i and the interior is solid as a tank. Great materials and pretty much the same kind of interior panel. Going to be a tough decision.....
