Yes. The mileage and time run concurrent with your factory warranty. I know it’s weird but that’s what they do. So an 7 year/100,000 mile policy is actually a 4 year/64,000 mile policy. I only have 15k on my 19’ so I waited until month 35 to buy mine.
There is no 3rd party policy that even comes close to the Ford ESP. It may not be perfect but it is the best. But you need to do some reading up before you decide to buy immediately after getting your car as the warranty does not kick in until after the factory warranties expire..
Should you...
As per Gas Buddy in Myrtle Beach, SC today.
Shell 87 - $2.65.9
Shell 93 - $3.49.9
Costco 87 - $2.58.9
Costco 93 - $3.02.9
So for me $0.47 a gallon to go to Costco.
See, you're starting to answer your own questions. You sound like a person who will not miss either the 400A or 401A. In that case a base 301A car will be perfect for you.
Good questions.
1. B&O sound system - If you are an audiophile you will most likely be adding amps, speakers, etc. Then the B&O is a waste. But if you are looking for a decent upgrade to the base system, yes it's worth it. But "you" need to go listen to one. Then you can make your choice.

Used Shell most of the time when I lived up North. Definitely a top 5 brand. But since moving to SC seven years ago I now use Costco 93. Top tier and always fresh. And it costs a lot less. That said when I am away from home I seek out Shell.
Just want to throw in my two cents. First your original question needs clarification. There are two S650 versions, the "Base" car (300A with optional 301A upgrade package and the "Premium" car (400A with optional 401A upgrade package. You are asking about the latter so you can pass all posts...
Congratulations on ordering your new pony. Ford does not recommend regular. Regular is the minimum allowable and can be used for low demand day to day driving. But if you want the advertised horsepower and mileage specs 91/93 is needed and what Ford recommends.
So what you use it up to you...
Price difference is substantial but not as much as you indicated.

You might get varied responses to your question but I've found that unless your garage temps are consistently below freezing you should be just fine. If you get the car out every so often flat spotting will not be an issue.
Agreed, but I would also do the “A“ pillars. I speak from experience. Cost is about $100 and some brands include a strip that covers the front of the roof.
Also from experience, make sure to cover the entire hood, not just the front half. Most front clip packages include the full hood but not all.
