Floor lighting is very helpful at night when you drop something. If you do not like it, you can always turn it off.

My 2015 wasn’t lit nor is my 2019. After nine years I know where the buttons are. 🤭 My only issue is reaching for my buttons on the rear view mirror (that’s where they are on my wife’s controls are on her Volvo.

Just make sure to use it all the time. Leaving an unprotected fob in the car will eventually cause battery failure due to parasitic draw.
