Thanks enjoyed the knowledge imparted in your research there , Both the parasitic current draw and how the ctek charger works . I will be buying a charger on black friday now , I get the battery saver mode on my s550 a lot more than it used to , hopefully can get a long tailed lead so i can...
NGL if i had a s650 i'd roll the dice on this ( no paint required ) rather than pay $2k plus for a bit of ABS plastic that still needs to be painted ( cost as much as full CF spoiler ) . Take a big gamble buy 2 of them and get a free CF spoiler and $500 😂...
The only potential issue i could see is car throwing a code if you ever forget to turn it on before startup , something i will research in the future . If i am to do it it will be via a switched Relay next to fuel pump , dont want any voltage drop issues running long wires .
Edit .. Plenty...
I went and looked at this car today , someone had already put a deposit on it , The fit , finish and features of this are next level compared to anything US . it's sort of perfect tbh . I think i might look into importing one , mate who lived in japan and has imported cars from there reckon...
Online it looks a pale yellow ( not that intense ) but i'd like to see it in the flesh , with the metallic in it im sure it would look completely different much like some of the previous orange colours do . I like the lambo like colours .
Thinking of a Hybrid Toyota for the wife but i keep looking at IS500 Lexus import as alternative 😎
$100k driveaway and i'd almost be there

This is a great value handy little basic random orbital kit i got to supplement my full size rotary polisher , does the fiddly little jobs well and i also use it for the windscreens pre treatment . Comes with a few different pads in a couple sizes . might be of interest to you ...
Thats why i chose to buy a '23 car , if i knew and could have locked in a price for a S650 i may of got one but it was a raffle . Financially i made the right choice for what basically is the same car outside tablet dashes and the $20k higher price . I am happy . I did all the calculations in...
I recently found the chinese company that makes Apex wheels and i am in the process of getting the wheel specs settled to order after they come back from holidays next week . So far process is fantastic and they have been very helpful , reviews are awesome . Lets just say the price should be...
Meanwhile people selling a '23 Gt today might be tearing up $10k max selling and often less than that . Part of the reason i did buy a '23 instead of waiting for the S650 , that and the tablet stuck to the dash although i am sure i would have got over that . When the S650 prices were released...
Had a quick search and looks like only OEM mercedes sizes avaialble atm . Certainly will be on my list when they are available in Mustang sizes . Been watch Tyre reviews for a couple years and its a good resource . I believe a new Michelin PS5S is close as well so interested in a review...
Just get a set of monoblock forged wheels for about probably 25% of the carbon price here in Australia that weigh about 20% more than carbon wheels imo . I got a quote on some custom 10.5" monoblocks before Xmas at $6200 . All depends if you drive it a lot or it's a garage queen i suppose ...
Damn i had no idea of the issues regarding S650 Mustangs , Looks like i dodged a big bullet just settling for S550 . I must be the only guy in about 5 years who paid a deposit and had his car built and delivered in about 10 weeks . I was on the verge of ordering a S650 but the screens and a...
Yes given the weather i think i might pull out of this one , Driving back to Brisbane through Mt Glorious is an amazing drive but one best avoided in wet conditions , with leaves on road its akin to driving on ice . If you do it again and sun is out i am allin .
