I just did a trip last week doing the Texas Twisted Sisters, Trans fluid was holding at like 210-214 the whole time. oil temp around 230.
The west and south legs is a lot of heavy 1-4 and much of it 1-3 gears. Lots of 2-3 shifts.
It's a bucket list for sure, but for anyone brave and smart...
Or make it an option right in the settings, like it's a setting, it would easily be in options. I hate when stuff like that is there, but they give you no access to it in the normal settings.
Like seriously, i can turn rain sensing on and off. Gear indicator is far more important. lol
Oh i thought ppl wanted to make money. If sit in office and be a worker bee for the least amount the company can get away with paying ya is all ya want in life. So be it.
It's a fantastic look, but yea it needs a window, or level tube, Personally i'd like an external level tube mounted neat on the side, would have a cool look would be super easy to add.
That aside, prices are just insane today.
The only ones I've heard that are not responding are all the BS retail jobs. Nearly any Autozone or o'reilly autoparts hire because they generally have higher turnovers because kids don't want to show up, but if you show up you can advance pretty quickly. But other retail, just sucks.
My point...
I just don't have the empathy for the laziness. You wanna make it in this world, you better get out there and hussle. I had my first child at 16, 2nd at 18, 3rd by 20. I came from a lower middle class single dad.
I don't wanna hear "wah wah houses cost to much" sure, but I can find you 10...
Have you heard Jim Farley talk on the subject? He can't get fill 5000 trade jobs that pay $120/yr.

And Mike Rowe has been one of the foremost...
The rev matching in an automatic is new to me. It just makes the car feel like a complete badass. :cwl:
I've said long ago, Man you can make anything fast these days. Slap on a turbo and it'll go fast. Today i feel it's moving more to the experience and not just being fast.
To get the same...
OH i misread your comment then, I thought you were saying the manual was better. Heck yea!
I was a big "manuals rule the world" kind of guy for ever, until my wife and I bought the 2011 GT. I knew then automatics had won, they had come to a point where they actually get better gas mileage, are...
You can do the same thing in the automatic. You want to pass, (while in auto mode) you can just hit the downshift paddle to pick the gear you want. 1, 2 3, taps and it will instantly no lag go to that gear with a rev match blip. When I say there is no way a manual could do the same as quickly...
You should of recorded ambient temperatures with your pictures. I believe you would see a correlation between ambient temps and coolant level in the expansion tank.
all i know is GenX here, and we are just facepalming for what the future holds. GenZ just doesn't have it, zero ambition, entitled, won't learn something on their own. Like man we're screwed. We learned cars because we love cars and wanted to do stuff with them (race). When i was in highschool...
Randomly the other day, this idea hit me. Since the 2024 gt will shift at paddle command when in automatic mode, I was like, hmm wonder if i double tap it and spiritedly hit it to pass, and OMG it's the most fun way to pass EVER. You get that monster rev match blip and then it just goes, like...
I mean these things do hold 10q of oil. I'm betting 8k is ok, for sure 5k. But my ocd just won't let me do it. LOL it's just me bro, im not speaking bad on how you do it.
Just crazy guess im old fashioned lol. Man just insane to me, guys buying cars, don't change the oil until 8k miles on it.
My routine, which i learned from a ford mechanic in the 90s, which he is still doing it the same today with his personal cars, and the oil geek has confirmed this with oil...
