Reports of a cooling problem on the base GT are greatly exaggerated. Unless its supercharged, or your tracking it, or REALLY beating on it, its not a problem.
As for the PP, If you dont want all that stuff just buy the auxiliary cooler separately and install it on a base GT. Its a lot cheaper.
I daily my car so I want maximum protection. I already had a spot where bird poop etched a ring in the PPF on the hood before I got the cermaic on it.
Im a big proponent of profesional cermaic (not the fake spray shit). Once you get Cermaic and understand what it is and its benefits, there's no...
Clearly you do care or you wouldn't have responded. I love it when old people get salty and argue over spelling and grammar on the a car forum. Tell me you're thin skinned with too much time on your hands without telling me. 🤣
Todays PPF is light years better than the old stuff. If you keep your car garaged and its not your daily, It should last you well past 10 years. And no, its not hard to remove. But let your installer do it they have a whole process.
Its not necessary, but it prevents etching from bird poop and has UV protection that prevents yellowing over time. The Cermaic I used is specifically made for PPF.
And btw I've owned two Camaros. My comment was based on guys who prefer other products and come here to bash because their shit is gone or in the toilet. Pointing that out doesnt mean I only like one product lol. Quite the contrary in my case.
