So, just how quick do you think it should take to design a new car? It doesn't take nearly as long as it used to with CAD/CAM and other design tools and procedures, from inception to a new car for sale on the dealer floor.
I sure hope AS/S is the biggest issue I have with my Mustang!! I read where the EPA is doing away with the requirements. That would be amazing for that group.
I think it's pretty handy to get to the normal things I take with me and put back there but otherwise, no, only dwarfs can sit back there. The tiny seats act as a good sound insulator too.
Ha! We go out and buy a not cheap Mustang GT and worry about printing an owner's manual. I don't at all like the fact that Ford didn't supply one on paper, but hopping on down and letting Staples print one on nice 24# paper, punching it, and putting it in a nice quality ring binder is pretty...
There have been seven Mustangs in my family since my first and they are fun ICE cars that need to stay ICE powered. My dad bought his first of two Coyote engined Mustangs at 86 y.o. An electric Mustang is a travesty. People want them but for goodness sakes, Ford, honor the name better.
How about the current GM V8 recall going on right now? Wonder what they will get an award for? It means 600,000 vehicles essentially ruined and not even sellable right now. Increasing their oil viscosity from 20W to 0W-40 is not exactly going to work out too well. GM can't give away a V8...
No doubt you're right. I will be crossing the state this Thursday, some of it on interstate and some on two lane through the mountains, on my shortcut to avoid Hotlanta driving insanity.
90mph has become the new 80mph on interstates, so what I do is just let the 90 mile per hour people go...
So, just reverse that....how many more cars could Ford sell by making them "nicer" and not so cheaped out? A lot of people with the money, like me, are willing to spend more to get more in their cars that they may like.
Well, I'll be damned. When I first got my car and said I was in the process of printing the user manual, I caught shit here for three days because I wanted a printed manual and it was assumed I was in the dark ages or something. No, I don't sit in my car and read the manual on a car screen...
No, my belief is not wrong as evidenced on this thread that you continually deny. I donāt need you to tell me how to use my S/S, but thanks anyway. Getting better mileage than a gas hog doesnāt mean your car gets good mileage. Youāre the one that logic seems to evade so wear out your V8. I...
Back to wear "the rubber meets the road", if anyone that owns a 5 liter Mustang really cared about air quality or gas mileage, we would all be driving a Prius or other economy car. Like another poster has repeatedly said, I just don't like it , I believe it wears engines and parts quicker, and...
Over 85 on an interstate there, you are awarded a "Super Speeder" letter from the state. I read a big deal about that when it came out a few years ago. Of course, I just drive like I want and keep my eyes open and listen to the little black box on the dash.
I can't answer your question since I'm not Whippled but anytime the wheels spin, you had better have the car pointed straight ahead or surprises await. How does anyone own a GT and not go "juvenile delinquent" at least occasionally?
