Not literally “Hertz,” but more of a rental aesthetic. Old school decals and generic grille trimming with those gloss/polished wheels. Feels very at odds with an OEM look.
But that’s just me!
Agreed. I think the S650’s super chunky diffuser also forces the “need” of dual walled tips even more so. Single walled tips look like pieces of tissue between those huge chunky borders.
They’re likely going all in on this new platform, so even if the formula’s compromised for the hardcore enthusiast crowds like us—the ones that prefer MTs and NA V8s—I’m pretty sure Dodge doesn’t have a choice to screw this one up and they’re doing their best to create something that will entice...
Yeah, nothing replaces the experience, but hopefully the overall package is extremely competitive.
Big believer that the initial Coyote in 2011, the leap to the S550, and the huge bump in the MY18 were largely in response to competitive climates from the Camaro and Challenger. Sucks not having...
I saw recent chassis pics on reddit and just read an article talking about what you listed above. Doesn’t look like it’s getting any smaller, that’s for sure. Either way, I hope whatever they come out with gives the current S650 the sweats, hopefully in sales and performance. Force Ford to make...
Auto start/stop is not the devil you guys are making it out to be. I have it in my manual Si. Most non-NPC-oriented cars equipped with it tend to have a dedicated function to disable it, and most cars with drive modes disable it in whatever "sport" settings they might have. It's non-invasive...
idk they sound literally 100% identical to me in this video. wearing headphones and bouncing to the exact second on the x/h-pipe hard fly-by in track and they sound like the same clip used twice
still think the x/h pipe sound difference is overplayed on mustang forums. it's all in the mufflers...
The only thing I really agree with is that it's a missed opportunity. Hard to know what kind of logistical battles they had to fight when developing this thing, but I do have a strong opinion that there's a huge X factor missing, from packaging, lack of innovation, and pricing. It's like the...
At the end of the day, there are probably just inherent changes that need to be made to the suspension geometry, bushings, and/or EPAS motor. Just like you, I hated my PP1 GT's steering, and prior to that, I had an E92 335i which I still feel had some of the best loading characteristics of any...
Funny you say that, BMW uses a unique PS4S with an asterisk to denote it’s of BMW specification. Like this PS4S*. Much stickier, much stiffer, way more feedback and better on track. I agree with you though, keeping hopes up
