Don't stress to much about the warranty, most parts come with their own warranties if they fail, the car itself having a part won't void the warranty. It's on the manufacturer to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that damage was caused by the part, otherwise they have to honor the warranty.

Probably not in any major way, the GTD wing is already very different from the GT3 due to not having to follow the regulations on areodynamis. For instance the GTD wind has active aero for its wing while the GT3 is a static component.
