  3. Official: 2025 Mustang GTD Revealed! 800+ HP 5.2L V8, Pushrod Suspension, $300K MSRP

300k is code for 500K It’s a new paradigm. and I’ll gladly bet the S650 GT500 will be 150K minimum for a base and everyone will be paying 200 plus like the Z06.
  4. Leaked! Mustang GTD (Mid-Engine?) Supercar Special Project - Debuts @ Monterey Car Week on 8/17!

Repost but looks identical, different wrap, street legal parts.
  5. UAW to vote on strike authorization next week

Just to be clear, the major reason for price hikes over the last several years is because of the tariffs on imported materials. if we could rollback tariffs for good and go back to free trade we would see significant deflation in car prices.
  6. UAW to vote on strike authorization next week

Labor only is around 3-4% … they could get 100% pay raise and it only adds 1-2% total costs.

  9. Leaked! Mustang GTD (Mid-Engine?) Supercar Special Project - Debuts @ Monterey Car Week on 8/17!

I was thinking closer to a multimatic ford GT with a mustang nameplate.
  10. A,X,Z plan pricing

  11. First 2024 Mustang orders being shipped to dealers now!

I just pulled into MAP and they’re loading up some broncos on a hauler with s650s on it. now who’s gonna be the 1st to ā€œget the callā€
  12. Premium fuel for Mustang DH to be more expensive.

It’s not gonna spin a rod bearing instantly. It’s cumulative over mileage and rpm talk to me when the 87 octane car has a rod knock at 130k miles and I’m going 200k plus.
  13. Premium fuel for Mustang DH to be more expensive.

People don’t understand pre ignition and hammering their bearings. If they did they’d be scrambling to get it on 93 or even better E85 it is a 12:1 engine, on 87 octane it’s basically eating itself and sensors are retarding everything from spark to cam timing to try and keep it alive. It will...

  16. Farley: 2024 Mustangs Begin Shipping Next Week! - 13,000 U.S. Orders So Far (67% V8 Take Rate)

Dude … I’ve been stranded at the gas station and unable to get gasoline when the power goes out. Literally no difference.
  17. Farley: 2024 Mustangs Begin Shipping Next Week! - 13,000 U.S. Orders So Far (67% V8 Take Rate)

I don’t understand this power grid argument at all. We all have stoves, and dryers. It’s not going to be anymore of a problem than the current system. it’s just like using my oven for an hour or doing laundry.
  18. Common Practice at the Dealer for an Ordered Vehicle

I was with my friend to pick up his new gt500, same thing, no test drive or nothing. And he spent over 100k. I think they just expect someone buying a new car would think it drives like any other new car. Interested for other opinions though.
