No, disagree. Our last 5 new cars did not give any problems at all up to 4/5 years old. Even when my wife's car sat at the airport for 6 weeks ( started and run for 10 mins every 3) it fired up first time no probs.
I think that the Mustang battery gets tired when it says hello every time we go...
Just FYI, the appropriate seating position with manual shifts is to be able to hold the clutch pedal hard on the floor but still have a bend in the knee.
Grandmas duly told how to suck eggs.
I know you can jump start modern cars succesfully, but I try to avoid it given all the electronics that have palpitations if you give them .5 volts too much.
I prefer to put them on charge if possible.

I've used Michelin exclusively for a few years now. Somehow their tyre magician is able to combine excellent grip and a bit more tread life than any other brand I've used.
That made them great value on a bike where you're replacing tyres regularly.
I got my car licence within days of turning 15, bike licence soon after. Learnt car control on dirt roads. But the single biggest thing in my driving career was enforcement driver training and years of driving/riding very fast in traffic.
Proper driver training is a must, not just on a track...
We watched The Art of Racing in the Rain last night. Despite the name it's about Enzo the dog. Excellent movie, but don't watch it if you tear up over sad movies.
Did you know that a Mk 4 Cortina 2 litre could do 180kmh?
It was an unmarked patrol car and we saw two of our guys running radar on the other side of the motorway. So we went a couple of kms up the road, turned and nailed it towards them. The doors of their car flew open so fast I thought they'd...
