    The tuning is gonna unlock HP just by extending redline to 8K no doubt.. The other big thing will be reducing tq limits in the trans and shift points.. so redline gains aside, even if there is no HP/TQ gains, there is 4-5 tenths in trans tuning on the table fairly easily

    I picked up 4MPH and over 3tenths… thats a lot closer to 40RWHP not on a dyno, but average track runs. It was my 3rd mod after springs and spacers… no better bang for your buck. Not sure why they only gained 12whp on the dyno but track MPH don’t lie.

    Nope D H is a “flex tax” car… you’re lighting 10K on fire the second you buy it… only cars I know that you’re up the second you buy it are Porsches… turbo S, gt2,3,4 etc.

    I had the Mt 82 in my 2014 … and it was fantastic… and I think that might have been the last year manuals were faster than autos (all things the same) That car ran 11.2s at 124 iirc, slicks, E85 tune and a intake… Mt82 gen2 or 3 could never… tremec either… I couldn’t wait to get the 4th gen...

    @MAT1955 pistons are the issue and set the limit for both… not rods. 9/10 too much boost, too tight gap in one of the factory rings… they kiss and send a chunk of ringland up.

    At the very peak in the rpm band… the tuning begins closing the GT throttle bodies a few ms before the DH… that’s it. if tuning were unlocked there would be zero HP difference… it’s literally being handicapped at high rpm by the tune.

    @wolf32v … the DH vs a used GT500 aren’t much of a comparison… The GT with a whipple is… I was roughly 55K all in for mine… cheaper than a base DH matter of fact. there is no better deal on the market at any price point than the 2024 GT/ whipple. Z06 can’t touch it, E ray, … ZL1 … hellcat...

    Unpopular take… this has taken too long and been too drug out… the car looks old already. they should work on getting debuts closer in time to real world rollouts. they probably have years left for this run and im tryna see what’s next.

    I’ll take a guess, it’s in the Billions to do just about anything… 10s of Billions most likely, and mustang does not do the volume to offset that. Everyone should realize… Ford is basically the F150 company… everything else is expensive side dishes.
