OK, I'm biased, but I love the look of the GTD (it's a flash S650), the sound is pure V8 with blower scream, the handling and grip appears to be world class, you won't see one everywhere you go.
Serious engineering has gone into it. The price is a shocker, but you can see where it went.

Yes to Brembo and B&O.
The Brembos are awsomely powerful and controllable and could easily save you an insurance claim. But they will be more expensive to maintain; pads, discs, etc.
I love the B&O system. Some don't, but it's great to my aging ears.
To be frank, the falling birthrate in the West could be the end of us. People who hate us are out reproducing us at an enormous rate.

We used to remove the pads and soak them with CRC Brakleen, it got rid off squeaking more often than not.
The wooshing noise used to be vacuum booster noise, but I believe these cars have electric booster pumps. It could be still the pump pressurising the system though.
