Yes to Brembo and B&O. The Brembos are awsomely powerful and controllable and could easily save you an insurance claim. But they will be more expensive to maintain; pads, discs, etc. I love the B&O system. Some don't, but it's great to my aging ears.

We used to remove the pads and soak them with CRC Brakleen, it got rid off squeaking more often than not. The wooshing noise used to be vacuum booster noise, but I believe these cars have electric booster pumps. It could be still the pump pressurising the system though.
