  1. Shoemaker Performance S650 Dyno Numbers!! (w/ E85 Custom Tune)

I think the main benefit at that point is the rev limiter, changing where the power is, and removing some nanny things (speed limiter) etc.
  2. Bad rear axle

About to replace my half shafts as well. They are popping and pinging all day and slipping bad. I have no power mods. I want to go with GForce outlaw and currently looking for some good hubs but there just aren’t any I can find that aren’t just ford stock. would really love MMR Timken ones but...
  3. Steeda First To Test S650 Mustang Tune On Track In Homestead

Does this mean they can possibly tune the magneride too?
  4. Steeda First To Test S650 Mustang Tune On Track In Homestead

I am excited to see what they come up with. Upping the rev limiter for manual (which I still don’t get why it’s different than the auto), removing the governor, a bunch of other little tweaks. Worth the tune right there.
  5. Service/Repair Manual?

Which site was that manual/download from?
  6. Any reason not to go with Ford Performance Supercharger?

Not sure. I would call or email Steeda - they were super helpful and could have made a big sale but were honest - which - much respect for.
  7. Any reason not to go with Ford Performance Supercharger?

No. I was going to get one and talked about my use case with Steeda and other vendors. They stated it you want to stay out on the track it is not likely with a supercharged dark horse even with the cooling mods because it will overheat and you won't last the full session. ** In a hot summer...
  8. Any reason not to go with Ford Performance Supercharger?

With about 15-25k in cooling mods (different headers, cooler hood, all the trimmings for cooling) on top of the costs for the supercharger it still overheats in race conditions. I was looking at doing this, talked to different vendors - Steeda being one and told them i enjoy tracking often...
  9. Any reason not to go with Ford Performance Supercharger?

Another note. I know it’s not your use case but just a heads up. IF you decide to track (road course) there are cooling issues with the supercharged engines. They cannot go very long on road courses at full tilt. You will spend a lot of time letting things cool while everyone else gets laps in.
  10. Does the HP Spoiler with Gurney Flap Actually Generate Downforce?

Ok. I am home now. All the data I have seen in wind tunnels is on wings so the spoiler will have a reduced affect but the principle is the same. I legit could not find any studies (other than the college kid I linked below) on mustang spoilers and gurney flaps with hard numbers. Let's see if I...
  11. Does the HP Spoiler with Gurney Flap Actually Generate Downforce?

You didn’t. It is a good discussion. I didn’t link the aero wind tunnel diagrams for gt3 style wings because it was part of the discussion. 9 lives and APR as well as others have some great wind tunnel results from S650 with wings both with and without a gurney flap. It starts to come online...
  12. Does the HP Spoiler with Gurney Flap Actually Generate Downforce?

Also, just making sure we are on the same page. This is not for drag racing. This is entirely a road course thing, high speed sweeping turns (Sebring, Daytona, etc)
  13. Does the HP Spoiler with Gurney Flap Actually Generate Downforce?

It’s going to be course dependent and however you have setup the suspension on your car, tires, etc.
  14. Does the HP Spoiler with Gurney Flap Actually Generate Downforce?

Here is some data of other spoilers with and without flaps. The flap is pretty significant. Similar car, different spoiler, should be ballpark. https://www.herrodperformance.com.au/2020-mustang-r-spec-gurney-flap/?utm_source=chatgpt.com
  15. Does the HP Spoiler with Gurney Flap Actually Generate Downforce?

Ford hasn’t released any numbers but if you look at reputable aftermarket wing companies that have gurney flap attachments they publish their data. The gurney flap adds a significant amount of downforce on those wings. I can’t imagine the flap on the HP spoiler is much different.
  16. Weak Ventilated Seats

Yeh there is no noise. They dont do all that much.
  17. Weak Ventilated Seats

Mine only stays at two. When I set it to 3 it goes right back to 2. When I first got it it worked great. Super cool. Within a week or two it just stopped working. It’s kind of cool. I am a bigger dude but not crazy and they worked at one point. The fact that it worked and just stopped working...
  18. Base seats for track use?

I track regularly with base seats. No issues. I’m also 6’3” and 260. The car itself holds me fine. The recaros were digging into my shoulder blades and back something fierce. Like with two minutes in the car on a test drive I had really bad pain (I also have old injuries that weren’t helping)...
  19. Getting Parts/Accessories directly from Ford.com

A day or two from ordering to picking up at dealer. (I’ve only done two parts)
