An exception for me was the stupid Dzus style plug on VW EA888 engines. I always used a new one, and used the factory tool and never had it leak. Dealers, it seemed weren't so careful
The manufacturer can try to refute claims, but proof is needed actual, factual, tested proof.
Eg, Company - the diff failed because you added 50 hp.
Claimant - What's the rated maximum input torque of that diff?
"They" say to replace the plug every time. But I have to confess I haven't, but I do use thread sealer or loctite blue on the threads. Never lost a plug or had a leak. I do always torque the plug.
Until you're in slow nose to tail traffic. I'd need both. Make that 3, I want the DCT as well.
I played with track mode again a few days ago. that is very clever. It shifts when I would shift a manual, but has better ratio spacing.
Probably an 8 spd auto and 7 spd manual would suit both camps.
If you want crowd sourced traffic apps for cams, cops etc, JBV1 is a good choice. It's a V1 Gen2 control app, but has a stand alone mode that gives you VVaze functionality but is a lot more customisable. Range of alerts, reminders of tracking alerts for historic contacts etc.

Apart from deaf old ladies who revved the nuts off it until they could hear it, then slipped the clutch for 100 metres.
