  1. Warranty

Read the fine print on that one...monetary limits on what they'll cover
  2. New Whipple now needs stickier tires for the street. Any suggestions?

It's been a snake oil mod since the 4.6 days
  3. Ignition Coil Failure - Mustang DH

It's just a coil....no big deal. Replace and move on
  4. New Whipple now needs stickier tires for the street. Any suggestions?

Buy six wheels...then you can swap rears whenever you want put drag radials on one pair of rear wheels, and a "good" tire for the rest of the time.
  5. Headers Install Cost

Probably the same as other random Chinese headers on eBay/Amazon etc
  6. New Whipple now needs stickier tires for the street. Any suggestions?

That's not really going to do much of anything for cooling. You want a vented hood and larger radiator.
  7. Headers Install Cost

A lot of people think it 'sounds cool' 🤮 I know a big part of it is younger people wanting the car to be as loud as possible.
  8. Headers Install Cost

The Kooks are the same way, you can buy the 'competition' connection pipes or the catted ones, and just remove the clamps and swap them out
  9. What a Max Effort N/A S650 Looks Like

You'd have to put it on an engine dyno A gen 3 with headers/cobrajet etc will make 550 on an engine dyno, they are rated at 460hp with the stock manifold/intake, plus you have all the accessories and stuff that don't get put on when on the engine dyno) cams will generally add about 50hp to...
  10. New 2025 GT with PP - Plan of attack

Go with the Whipple stage 2 kit. Stage 1 is pretty lame. Don't bother with the gears/sprocket. And use the Nitto R2's for the rear, the G2's are going to be useless once you put the supercharger on. You're also going to want the BMR or Steeda stop the hop kits for the rear end.
  11. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

I'd like to see the internal reasons on why they use both.Or why they don't just use one. Interestingly, they don't charge $1595 anymore to replace the manual with the 10R80.
  12. Oil filter for 2025 GT Mustang

Those white Ford filters 'flow more' while 'filtering slightly less', but I haven't seen any actual data.
  13. Catted long tube headers safe for boost?

The real trick is how they get everyone to believe "it doesn't affect your warrantee"
  14. Track tested: Dodge Charger Six Pack vs Ford Mustang GT

Cliffs: Charger is 900lbs heavier than the Mustang (400lbs heavier than a Hellcat) Mustang stops 22ft shorter from 60 (that's a car length for the Charger). The Charger was on Goodyear all-seasons, though. Charger did 0-60 in 4.1, but the car ended up slowing down big time, possibly do to...
  15. Whipple or Roush?

You need a waaaay smaller pulley than what comes with the stage 2 to run 8's
  16. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

I mean he's not gone by now...what would he have to do to get the boot?
  17. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

Rather be pushed back into my seat than wiggle a little stick around The engine (or turning if that's what you're into) makes the car exciting but the shifting not so much My Mustang is a stick. The vast majority of cars that's I have owned have been. I just don't get why it makes so many...
  18. Catted long tube headers safe for boost?

Because they were designed to be used like that. GT500 cats also last. It's supercharging the NA cars which is the problem with the Mustang. The cats weren't meant to have double the exhaust flow going through them, along with higher temps. The Camaros have 4 cats don't they? edit: yes
  19. CEO Jim Farley: They'll have to rip the Mustang's stick shift 'out of our cold, dead hands'

Boring to me would be shifting gears in a car and having to wait 40 and then 50mph to shift again (that's how long 3rd and 4th are in a MT-82D4 3.55 car)
  20. Coyote Tick?

    Engines make noise.
