How did your blend date compare to the build week in the tracker? My "build week" has moved a few times (from August 21, 18, 15) but is currently 8/14.

I went to the Mustang site and selected the comparison of the GT and Dark Horse. Both are listed as Ti-VCT. I see where they are showing the Dark Horse as DOHC in the selector tool, but that is probably just an effort to make it appear different than the GT.

I’ve always understood a DOHC engine to simply refer to an engine with two camshafts located inside the head, which is pretty much a common setup these days. DOHC can have different configurations for fixed or variable valve timing.

I’m no expert, but isn’t the Coyote both Ti-VCT and DOHC? The two are not mutually exclusive. I believe the Dark Horse engine is the same as the GT with different connecting rods and tuning (maybe a few other minor differences as well), but it is basically the same engine.

I have a 2021 F-250 with the 7.3 that I bought new. I love the engine. I’m glad I went with it over the Powerstroke and especially the 6.2 which was the standard engine for 21.

Did you order something that currently has a build constraint? When did you order? Just curious as to why you’re unscheduled?

You can have both because they are completely different packages. The performance package is just what it says, performance improvements. The night pony package is just about blacking out parts of the car. There’s no overlap between the two packages.

There may be certain items which cannot be changed, but my dealer was able to change the brake caliper color on mine after a VIN was issued.

I understand, it’s easier to get exactly what you want if the main attraction to the PP was the wheels and spoiler. For me, I wanted to get the Brembo brakes, drift brake, 3.55 Torsen plus the spoiler. I would actually prefer aftermarket wheels, but I do like the PP wheels better than the standard.

I ordered my 24 GT with PP (No NP package) on 6/21 and received my VIN on 6/22 with an 8/21 build week, so I don't know that PP has been holding up orders being scheduled. It does appear NP package has been causing ordered not to get scheduled from the comments I'm seeing.

I thought USOB is unscheduled order bank, which only includes those vehicles still waiting to be scheduled. 1,141 in USOB seems like it is too low of a number if it includes all vehicles not already produced. Are you sure USOB is all orders, scheduled and unscheduled?

I have an 8/21 build week as well. The dealer just changed the brake calipers from black to red today. I confirmed the change is showing when I check the order status online.
