Yes no of course you wouldn't just put any lithium in it. I know there are some companies that make them specifically for the automotive world. My old yamaha MT07 i swapped for lithium, made for application and it was massive weight saving and the bike cranked so much better.

I used the larger 500s one on my old ecoboost, i think its just a bigger and maybe better filter? but it fits and you can use it. more capacity in the filter is usually my preference on all my cars and bikes. I find my oil doesn't stay nice for long on my motorbike when im using the stock yamaha...
