Sorry about that. Apparently I made an incorrect assumption based on the H pipe I have. The Steeda H pipe you just cut out the resonator and clamp in the H pipe. No need to remove the exhaust.
I've now had my 2024 GT Premium PP A10 for about six weeks and 2,100 miles. I am very impressed with the S650 versus the S550 I previously had (also an A10 PP). There really isn't anything in the S550 that I preferred over the new model. However, I must say I am most amazed at the difference...
I hope they add it in a future update, but my 2019 never showed the gear either unless using the paddles. That’s one thing I like about the 10 speed in my F-250; it displays the gear all the time.
Edit: I should clarify my 2019 Mustang did not have the digital dash. It sounds from others'...
Congratulations! I seriously considered the Type R when looking for a sporty car. I don’t need the four doors, but from everything I’ve heard they are a blast to drive. The two things that kept me from pulling the trigger were the crazy markups and the rear wing. The wing is just a little more...
Interesting. I have the full length jacking rails on mine, but the Steeda website shows those as fitting the S650 as well. I guess it’s possible they may have made modifications to the original rails to make them fit the S650 as well as the S550 if you ordered before Steeda advertised them as...
Steeda just posted a video of their suspension upgrades on an S650.
Magneride Sport Lowering Springs
Camber Plates
Adjustable Front and Rear Sway Bar
Stop the Hop Starter Kit
I’m sorry, but I’m not sure. Steeda installed them in order to make sure everything fit. I’m expecting they’ll be releasing updated details for the S650 shortly. They said everything lined up but it needed longer bolts than the S550. I just don’t know the details.
Update: Steeda does now show...
I believe the Steeda jacking rails are the same as the S550, but the bolts are different and it requires trimming of the felt. Here’s a photo of the Steeda rails on my car.
Update: Steeda now lists their jacking rails as compatible with the S650...
I figured since I just finished washing it I’d go ahead and get a cold start and warm start video with the Steeda H Pipe. Warm start also includes remote rev.
I’ve had the Steeda H pipe for two weeks now. I love it. It is significantly louder on cold starts, and louder across the board compared to stock, but no drone. I made a video while cruising and you can tell how quiet it is in the cabin.
Have you tried using voice commands? I couldn’t even tell you how to get to the radio stations on the car. I just use voice commands to tell it to tune to another station. If the car had physical buttons for presets, that would be the easiest method, but since it doesn’t, voice commands make it...
And the S650 GT made 393 rwhp on the dyno the same day the Dark Horse made 405. Given the DH is rated 14 higher than the GT, the dyno showing 12 over the GT is right in line with what would be expected.
