Yes it was. Waited over 7 months on MY2022 F-150. About 10 min after the dealer call received the email from Ford.

Haven’t received the email, but got the call from my dealer. GT Premium Convertible, 401A, 3.55 rear, active exhaust, auto, engine block heater, atlas blue, gray interior. Ordered 8/12, build week 10/2.

Woohoo, ordered my GT Premium convertible on 8/12, received notice of build week today, week of 10/2. Waited over 7 months for that notice on MY2022 F-150.

When I ordered my GT Convertible I asked the dealer if I could delete the feature--he said no. My22 F-150 had it deleted due to production constraints. I love the fact that it isn't there. MY20 Explorer ST had it and I hated it. Could turn it off but sometimes forgot, and had the "what was that"...

So if I look at the Convertiable they have allocated 20% of the capacity, but are only using 8%, thus meaning they have 12% that is available to build--correct?

Sorry, I’m new here, and I don’t understand what this is tell me. This is different than what I would see when I ordered MY 2022 F-150.

Just look at all the drag strips that are closing. This generation has no interest in true performance. I ordered a 2024, this will be my 9th Mustang. Wanted a piece of what will probably be the last true performance car.
