It was not that good in corners. The long stretches is why it got that lap time.

Both Corvettes won on the first try. GTD had two tries to make that lap time. Corvette will be even faster next time.

You can also find thousands of GT's without a panel gap. That doesn't take away the fact that the Mustang is known for panel gaps. So again, it is a Mustang issue. No need to defend something that is well known on the Mustangs. And here you have another GTD with the well known trunk panel gap...
