  1. Getting squirrely?

Uakawease, Great advice, from Farmer Fran and others. I've had my Stang since July and I do occasionally get on it but you must respect it. One thing that was barely discussed, is road debris. I'm not talking about road kill and tire pieces but something much smaller and almost imperceptible...
  2. After two months of ownership...

Using Alexa. Never thought I'd say it, but Alexa voice commands work quite well. I have to figure out what other commands she can execute.
  3. Molten Magenta Metallic S650 Mustang DELIVERED!

That is one fabulous color! Good luck and use it well!
  4. Shadow Black

Well if it is, that's fine. I've owned mine since July and have never noticed any flakes. As I said, in an earlier post, I will examine my car in the sun, if it ever comes out again. Personally, If I have to examine a car, in the sun, to see the flakes, and I have owned the car for 5 months...
  5. After two months of ownership...

That's exactly what mine does. A nice blue, pulsating display, across the very top of the screen. Nothing else changes on my screen, that I have noticed. It is a pain when you say something Alexa doesn't understand because she won't work again for quite awhile, or not at all until you restart...
  6. Clicking and clacking when car is off and I'm nearby with my keys

I'm surprised no one mentioned the light show, that goes along with it. I love the light show and clicking sounds. At least I know my battery isn't dead. Glenn
  7. Mustangs little Snow Excursion

I had both a Supra and Z, that were my daily drivers. I had little trouble commuting to my job, an hour away, but you better be very experienced with drifting situations and not panic. My Z lease was 39 months and I drove it all winter. Once, on the way home from Canada, I hit an ice storm in...
  8. Shadow Black

My point was, Ford should have included more flake, so it is obvious.
  9. Going to do battle on Monday

fishinrich, Congratulations! Model railroaders have a saying. Rule #1, my railroad, my rules. Rule #2, see rule #1. If you are happy with the car and happy with the deal, nothing else matters. Others opinions don't matter, one iota. Use it well and share some pics. Glenn
  10. Break in period?

It will be a cold day in hell before I wait to 10.000 miles. They don't even check the oil level, or color of the oil?
  11. Let’s go topless! Post your top down convertible pics

Great looking car! But I have an idea. How about all you guys with the beautiful wheels, stop posting pics. You are embarrassing the rest of us. Glenn
  12. After two months of ownership...

Tonight, 6:15pm, Bethlehem Twp, PA, I went to pick up dinner. 46º, top down and all I did was say,"Alexa, raise the temperature to 85º. Not a care in the world. And screw all those idiots without Mustang GT Convertibles and their weird looks!
  13. Going to do battle on Monday

Time of year or month, can be advantageous but that doesn't mean you can't push them further. I don't usually look forward to the car, or boat, purchasing drama. However, once the bell has rung, I enjoy the process. I've never been one to shy away from a challenge and getting your price, can...
  14. Going to do battle on Monday

Enjoy the battle! I love when they won't meet my price but chase me into the parking lot and finally wave the white flag. Glenn
  15. Side Mirror Angle When in R

The list on my 24 GT Vert was just over 59K. (Not what I paid) How on Gods green Earth does it not have a forward facing camera and external downward pointing mirrors, when in reverse. IMHO, they are necessities. I don't often have to parallel park, but when I do, I don't want to be concerned...
  16. Shadow Black

I have a 24 GT Vert, with Shadow Black and I have never seen any metallic glint in the paint. I have had the car since July but I am more than happy to back it out and check it. I will, however, have to wait for the sun to come up. I do agree with 8915GT, that it is very glossy. My car...
  17. Issues with 10speed rpm’s sticking

I agree with jboogie1289s possible solution. I have done it a couple of times. It is rather disconcerting. I find the shifter will go into manual mode quite easily. So far, I haven't noticed any ill effects. Glenn
  18. Let’s go topless! Post your top down convertible pics

ComvertibleUnderTheSun, If I may ask,"What color is your Vert?" My sticker says it is Shadow Black. That pic, of your car, is beautiful. Glenn
  19. Did the s650 live up to the "Poster car" promise Farley made?

Mine adorns both my laptop and iPhone. Actually, it replaced my grandsons pictures. Glenn
